It's quite lively, the residents are often out in the community spaces, the staff is wildly friendly and helpful, the dining room has many options and its staff are keyed into each person's special needs for meals. That's a significant feat, especially since food becomes the center of so many residents' interests. An exception would be the busy people in charge of the caregivers who tend to be not as helpful for family members. Another thing that bothers me is that there is little communication about her care or needs from staff, and little follow-up when a concern is raised.... Read more

5 on all counts! We are very happy with Vitality Living Arlington. In addition, please pass on our highest praise for the new Director, [name removed]. She is a kind and caring pro who has taken a sincere interest in my mom as Mom has moved from Assisted Living to Memory Care.

June 27, 2023Hi Laurie, it makes us happy to hear of great experiences like this! We greatly appreciate the five-star review.
What our family likes most about the Vitality Living Arlington community is all the different social activities they have for the residents there. They have French conversation, wine tasting, a movie theater and a hair salon. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

June 13, 2023Hello, we know that making a move to a senior community can be a difficult process and it makes us happy to hear this. Thank you for your feedback!
We picked this community, because I liked the looks of the facility and I liked the sales person. They are doing everything very well.

March 14, 2023Hi, we know that making a move to a senior community can be a difficult process and it makes us all so happy to hear of great experiences like this. Thank you for your feedback!
Compared to others we looked at, the value for the money was great. The staff were really amazing to work with and they were all on the same page and knew what was going on. Their communication between staff and with the families was amazing. They were always responsive and helpful whenever we needed them. I would recommend Vitality Living Arlington to other families.

Vitality was our third choice. The sales associates were all very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our job market after covid makes it easy for the assisted living places to find good sales associates. Care givers are hard to find.

November 18, 2022Hi, Mary - Thank you for your feedback. We greatly appreciate you taking a moment to leave us a five-star review.
The resident rooms were smaller at Vitality Living Arlington than at the place we chose. But other than that, I thought it was great. I just preferred a location that was closer to me and less congested. Vitality Living was right in the city, with more traffic and a more difficult parking situation.

October 25, 2022Hi, we greatly value your feedback, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us!
We chose Vitality Living Arlington primarily because of the location, it is walking distance from everything and they also offer a free taxi service that my dad really likes. It is in a nice and elegant setting - the architecture of the building is very nice. My dad has big bay windows in his room so he gets a lot of natural light. For the most part everyone has been very friendly. We would recommend the facility to other families looking.

October 6, 2022Hi, we know that making a move to a senior community can be a difficult process and it makes us all so happy to hear of great experiences like this. Thank you for your feedback!
I thought Vitality Living Arlington was very nice. It was quaint and cozy. The only reason we didn’t pick them was the location didn't work for us.
I would share that Vitality provided the care that my husband required with loving and competent care.

The people were very nice and the community itself was very clean. We did feel like it was worth our money and we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience but it is not like a nursing facility so if your loved ones need medical assistance we recommend hiring outside care workers.

It was really nice and easy to go and visit our loved one at Vitality, it was fun to go and hang out. The staff members had a lot of patience with the residents, they were attentive, professional and pleasant. They had both male and female residents there with a wide range of ages. The food was good, the dining staff was very friendly. Our loved one had a nice little apartment, it was casual, comfy, and she was able to bring her own furniture. They have a library room, piano lounge area, hair salon, book clubs, Spanish and French clubs, so a lot of things for the residents to do.

July 15, 2022Hi, Isabella - we have such wonderful team members and we appreciate you sharing your experience and we strive to create such experiences for everyone! Thank you for your feedback!
I toured Vitality Living Arlington and it was a fine experience. They had a lot of great services and activities that my loved one would not have been able to take advantage of. They have 15 people in a group, whereas the community we chose never has more than 8. We chose another community because Vitality's proximity to family & friends, and the community itself wasn't a good fit.

June 27, 2022Hi, thank you for your feedback! We greatly appreciate you taking time to leave us a 5-star review.
We had a nice tour at Vitality Living Arlington. It didn’t have as much outdoor space as the place we chose. However, that would have been my second choice. They were very friendly, and it seemed like the care would be good. Ultimately, they didn’t specialize in memory care, and we were just blown away by a place that did.

May 23, 2022Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate it.
They have very caring staff here. I believe they could be a little more heavy on staffing; however, this is probably wide spread in this industry. I think there is some turn over of staff as well. The staff are very receptive to the residents needs and work well with the family. The community brought in a new head of dining and are upping their game on food. Prior to this new head of dining food was a lower rating, than current. Call button response time could be improved as well.

It's a very friendly atmosphere if your loved needs a lot of extra support, I suggest hiring a private duty aide to assist. If the loved one is independent, it is a great place to be. If they have definite needs, an aide helps.

March 16, 2022Hi, Pam - a search for the right place is a search for the right people. And we agree, we have some wonderful people provide the services needed by so many. Thank you for your feedback!
They could improve on the activities, they have very few of them and do not really engage with the residents. Value is subpar for what we are paying and the care our loved one is receiving, we do know the staff members are understaffed. Even though the executive director is very nice, she could communicate a little more frequently.

A Place for Mom has scored Vitality Living Arlington 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
