From the outside, the community was very neat and clean we were not able to go inside due to covid. Communication was very good between the staff the family and they kept us well informed. I would recommend this community to others
The people at Vista Lake are great! That perfect balance between professional and friendly. The facility wasn't what we were looking for for mom. It has more of a nursing home feel than she liked. The location was very nice, super convenient to medical services, etc.
The community was no longer serving diabetic foods so the residence that needed diabetic meals were getting served regular foods and dessert. They are not as pet friendly as they say, the community was going to kick my parents if they didn't get rid of their dogs. They offered to take the dogs to the vet and put them down. I would not recommend this community to others. There was a management change and that's when things started getting bad. I even called the owner about the food and nothing was done.
It is a very nice looking facility. The setup is nice, the staff are friendly, but their biggest weakness is their meals. Their meals offer very little flexibility, so if you don't like what they are serving, you better pray they have a nice alternative. The portions are small. They treat visitors better than the residents. I have been there and witnessed this first hand. The food is also mediocre. If you should ask for seconds, they go cross eyed.
Very good, the food needs to be checked as there is too much waste. The staff very helpful and visitor's are welcome.
I visited several memory care before deciding on Vista Lake. The staff are very helpful! So far I have no problems!
Our visit to your facility was absolutely delightful. [Name removed], the manager gave us a tour of the facilities. She was knowledgeable and courteous. She explained all the available options, answered all our questions and showed us the room options available. The rooms were warm, inviting and modern. The staff was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and welcoming. We felt right at home. The dining room was spacious and the menu delightfully inviting. My wife and I were looking for one of our clients and we decided we would like living here someday too!
We found a community for my aunt and the are satisfactory. It worked out for my aunt and the family.
We had a loved friend at Brookdale Memory Care in Leesburg who passed away recently. We grew very fond of all the staff and because of their care and kindness, selected Brookdale Assisted Living next door for my Mother. She knew some of the staff from visiting our friend, and they made her feel right at home . We're very happy she's in such a caring home.
Grandpa is doing well with his rehabilitation at this community. This community is close to family. The community is clean and they have long corridors. They are adequately staffed and offer good rehabilitation. They offer good looking well balanced meals. They have walkers and machines to help with getting him up and moving. They are doing a good job and we are hoping his rehabilitation will be completed soon.
