My Dad was so well cared for here. He loved his staff, loved the delicious food, and thought his apartment overlooking the open space in Santa Luz was so nice. He loved to look out his windows at the view. Such a caring staff that really knew my father and all of our family. We were always greeted by name. We will always be grateful for all they did for my father! The live music was extra special to my Dad. Wonderful exercise classes and friendly teachers. We highly recommend this Memory Care facility.... Read more

Since last year, a family member of mine has resided in Villa Lorena. The treatment is excellent, and we are extremely happy with their services, in addition to the setting being lovely, homey, and classy. When compared to the needs of patients in memory care, the entire crew is kind and takes pride in their work. Most significantly, my aunt is content and has adjusted to her new surroundings. The owners are also incredibly generous. My mother, who resides in a retirement community at [removed], was even urged to relocate.

They are understaffed. The caregivers are nice, and want to a do a good job but they just can't. They just don't have enough staff to answer all of the call lights. It is a great place to live as long as you don't need a lot of care. They are on the fourth executive director in two years. The food is really good with open dining all day and the dining staff are very nice. They have a lot of activities offered including walking club, history lessons, entertainment each day at 3, gardening, bouquet making, multiple exercises classes a day, and bible study . My mom could be busy all day long.

Beautiful facility. One bedroom unit is very nice, 690 Sq. ft. Common areas are fantastic. Would have to move to go to memory care. Dining options available from 7 am to 7 pm. Quiet location. Expensive. No RN's on staff, LVN's only. Only 30 residents at this time, so very quiet. Maybe not enough opportunity for interaction.
