Tylers Mill was a little smaller, but I liked that. The only thing we didn't really like was that with parents with two different care needs (one assisted living and one memory care), they would have been in two separate buildings, and it would have been difficult for Dad to go see Mom. But their pricing was really good, and they were willing to work with us.
Friendly staff and caring for the patients at all time pleasant experience for older people. [name removed] always been very useful to me with information that I needed for the clients best interest. Always going extra mile

Personally, I would obviously not share everything, that's not who I am but considering my father was there a month and a day, passed away and was charged the fee for the year, I believe in exceptions! I certainly did not think that was good proper business ethics! I would only recommend someone that needed assisted living, nothing more because my father was in memory care and did not receive the care he desperately needed which I have to live with forever, however, I would recommend [name removed] highly!

Our tour at Fox Trail was nice. But it wasn't a modern facility. We chose a place that was newer and more updated.
When my loved one moved in last Fall, they were very unwelcoming. We felt like we were told certain things when signing the contract, and then told the opposite during the move-in process. We never got a welcome packet ever. We were having consistent issues with communication from Fox Trail, both with the executive director as well as the assistant director. I felt they did not give friendly responses to my questions. I did receive responses to my emails, but they were pretty curt and unhelpful. Any communications that were sent out were not clear. The way that they responded made our family feel like we were bothering them. I will say this - within the last month or so, we received a letter from the regional director stating that the executive director had retired and was no longer employed there. But we read between the lines. I wrote a lengthy letter to the regional director with our concerns, stating the things we needed in order to make it work at Fox Trail. The regional director has been awesome. She is very professional, and gets back to you. We're hoping things will continue to get better under her attention. They did hire a nurse. I've spoken to her personally, and I really like her belief in and emphasis on training and education. She's there part time until she can fully leave her last position, which I believe will be occurring in February. So we're hoping things continue to get better. As far as the food, my loved one tells me some things she likes; other things she does not. Says the meat can be tough. Activities are getting better. We love the facility. It's very charming, and we feel that it's clean. Communication has just been a big problem. On weeknights and weekends, we consistently could not get ahold of anyone with concerns about our loved one. One time a resident even picked up the phone. The old executive director didn't seem concerned, although she did make some changes. I'm hoping and really do believe that the regional director and new nurse will make things right going forward.

This is a small friendly community. The management seem to address any issues that I have , they have been very helpful and cooperative. Sometimes the staff can be a little difficult to work with however, whenever it was addressed it was resolved.

Our loved one was only there for two months so we did not get much feedback regarding the meals and the activities were shut down due to the covid restrictions. However, we liked how all of the residents were segregated and we would recommend Fox Trial community to others.

I would recommend this community to others. The administrators seem to care about my loved one's care. It is a smaller community and this is a great feature.

Most economically priced. Older buildings, narrower hallways.’ Lovely porch and outdoor pathway . “Woodsy setting”

I would say not to go there. The care is lacking and responsiveness is lacking as well. The care that is lacking is the care for the residents. We have received calls from my loved one about needing assistance and no one is there to assist my loved one when he is making the request in the community.

After reading the reviews from May 2020, I find it hard to believe that someone has had a pleasant word to say about this place. The state has been in there numerous of times regarding mananagement and complaints about the care that their loved ones have been receiving. These poor residents are not allowed to socialize with one another. They blame it on covid but this is not the case. Due to poor or lack of direction from management (NOT enough workers) these poor residents are forced to stay in their rooms. If you question management about this, they literally threaten to kick your loved one out of the facility. I have never seen a Huey and Louie side show like the management there! Save yourself the heartache and trouble of spending your money foolishly, go somewhere else. I have called corporate located in MAWAH,NJ a number of times AND they say that they no longer handle the FOXTRAIL in Deptford. You get the run around and if you call the number on the wall hanging in Foxtrail as soon as you get in, its the wrong number. So, I'm gonna call management out on this one.. Whos' covering for who?

The director and executive director are horrible. Now what I know after having a loved one in the memory care unit, I will be contacting the state to come and investigate. Something shady going on in that place. I'm just happy that I got my dad out if there before he got hurt!

I recently lost a loved one who was there for years. Come to find out, that she had underlying conditions that should have appeared to raise a red flag. And the nursing staff along with management just let her stay in her bed without seeking professional medical help. The staff is caring but not educated enough to know how to care for these residents. There is no nurse on staff after 5PM, so please don't be fooled by the management telling so. Also, speaking of management; they are inept. They are always in pairs, you can never or will never speak to them alone. They feed off each other. So please, do yourself and your loved one a favor and DO NOT GO TO FOXTRAIL.
