I toured with Woodbury Mews and it was a nice facility and the staff were friendly. I was not a big fan of the locaiton, it was further away from things.

We have not been able to have a meal there ourselves but our loved one seems to be happy with the food. They do a lot of different activities during the week for the residents which has been great. We have no complaints. It is expensive but considering everything we are getting we do feel we are getting our money's worth and based on our experience we would recommend the Woodbury Mews to other families.
This community was nice it was jut not the right fit for my loved ones needs. there was another community that just instantly clicked that we just knew was right for my loved one. the tour was great and they gave me all of the information that I needed. This was a really nice community but we were afraid it would be to big for my loved one and she would not get the needed attention.
I thought Woodbury Mews was really nice as far as the tour and the people there. They invited us to a luncheon later on for prospective residents, which we went to, and it was lovely. They had a lot of nice spaces. They also had a plan for some extensive upgrades on the décor. The studio we looked at was a tad small. Also the location just wasn't right for us.
This community is perfect for an aging parent who needs a safe place to be. They have activities like live entertainment, board games, wii games, and more every day for the residents to do to stay busy. The staff are wonderful and take care of everything needed for my loved one. The tour was great and very informative making sure I knew everything I needed to know.
Up until a couple of days ago we would of given the community 5 out of 5 stars, but recently our loved one was able to "escape" from the facility and once they get back from the hospital they are giving us a 30 day notice. Nothing serious happened and we are hoping in the long run the move and decision is worth it. All of the staff members there have been so friendly and truly wonderful. Because the community is farther away I have not been able to make it to a lot of meal times but the dining room is always kept very clean and neat. If it was not for that circumstance they would of received 5 stars.
My family is forever grateful to Woodbury Mews! Our mother has Alzheimers and had a horrible experience at another facility. We were desperate to find another place for her to go to that could provide the care and attention that she needed. Our Aunt was a long-time resident at Woodbury Mews so I reached out to find out if they could help. The rep listened, showed compassion, remembered our Aunt and went out of her way to help our Mother. She is such a kind and caring woman. The entire team at Woodbury worked together to get everything in order as quickly as possible. Thank you to the team of ladies that made this happen, they are knowledgeable, efficient and CARING. We were in the best hands! Our mother was transferred yesterday and was greeted with a warm welcome. The peace of mind that has been granted to us during such an incredibly difficult and painful time is appreciated beyond words. Our family recommends Woodbury Mews to anyone going through this with their parent.
We chose Woodbury Mews because they offered much more here and all the ratings above. It also has outside areas that are very nice that some others did not. The rooms are very nice sized. It is all one level which is nice because residents can interact better. All around it is a great place.
Beautiful and newly remodeled. Wide hallways. Many open “spaces” available for gathering and conversation with others. Cost is high, but there are many services available. 24/7 Nursing present.
We chose Woodbury Mews because it was a smaller quaint community and they really worked with us and were great about communication. The room sizes here are pretty good compared to others we looked into. I would tell others that if you are looking, I would highly recommend this place. Out of all the places I have had my mom in, none compare to this facility.
We chose Woodbury Mews because of the location, the value for the money, and what they were able to provide. They have a variety of sizes for apartments you can choose from and we chose the studio. The food here is good, they are chef prepared meals. I would definitely recommend the community to others.
Woodbury Mews community has a very upbeat happy feel to it, it is very open and clean. There are always residents walking around. However even though this is a beautiful place to live, it is pretty expensive and we felt at times it was all about the money, and during COVID they had raised the rent which we did not like. Most of the staff members were very friendly to us. Some activities this community offered were exercise classes, movie nights, happy hour twice a week. There would also be live piano entertainment, and arts and crafts. They would also take the residents out to the mall or other stores. The rooms are very nice, and large. Our loved one lived in a deluxe one bedroom, it had nice windows and the bathrooms were large, and wheel chair accessible if needed. It had a small kitchenette where there was a refrigerator and you could bring your own microwave, and there was a nice seating area. We described this as a fancier college dorm. Our loved one enjoyed the food most of the time, the served a couple of different entrees and you could either eat in the dining hall or have a staff member bring your good to your room. They were very accommodating.
This community is a little more expensive, however our loved one had great people taking care of her. We really liked how welcoming this community was when we first visited. We would say the food is a four out of five, and the rooms are about a four out of five

October 5, 2020Thanks for sharing. We're happy to see that you're satisfied overall but would love to earn your complete satisfaction with the food. While we can't change the rooms, we can ensure that they are tidy and clean as can be! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have specific suggestions for an even better dining experience.
My loved one didn't wasn't able to participate any activities due to the medical reasons. I would tell my friends that the senior staff were wonderful. The head nurses and the people who schedule the moves are great. I received quick replies for moves for my loved one. You will be comfortable with the professionalism, friendliness, aides and the empathy of those that take care of your loved one.

September 24, 2020We're glad to see our dedicated associates make all the difference and were able to care for your loved ones. Thanks for taking the time to tell us how we're doing with an online review.
We chose Woodbury Mews because we had a good impression from the tour. We liked the personality of our tour guide, Gene. The room sizes are small for what you are paying. My mom says she has been extremely unhappy about the food, there are not a lot of options with low salt.

MY FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE IS THIS THE RENT IS AFFORDABLE MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT ME BEING ON FIXED INCOME I HAVE TO DO WHAT MOST PEOPLE DO I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES THAT THE RENT BE TAKEN OUT EARLIER THEN THE TENTH OF THE MONTH I HOPE THEY LISTEN TO THAT AND DON'T WAIT TILL THE 10TH OF THE MONTH. I SAY THIS BETWEEN THE 1ST AND THE 5TH WOULD BE FINE. THANKYOU [name removed]

Very pleasant & concerned for the residents as well as the members of the families. They're cost effective & reasonable. They have numerous activities & seem to respect & regard the residents & their families. All the current residents appeared to be satisfied & cared for by the staff.

November 25, 2019Thank you very much for taking the to share your feedback. We're happy to see you enjoy the community, associates and offerings, in addition to our affordable approach to quality care. Thank you again for sharing your valuable feedback.
This may be the right fit for you and your needs, but it was not for us. This was my experience. The community is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation and is quite large. It feels like a community of new luxury condo buildings. They have independent living, assisted living and memory care. I am specifically looking for assisted living or memory care for my grandmom and that portion has not been completed (i.e. interior has not been inspected yet for use) so all of the memory care residents I saw were crammed into a rather small area, for communing and eating, while there are massive (the majority) unused sections. This may seem like a quibble concerning timing, but they obviously have also been living in these small areas while construction was underway as well... Memory care was on an upper floor, and the residents did not appear to be engaged - with a large group of them (at least 12-14) simply sitting around a table in a small areae, with two aides, while others slept or wandered asking us to help them find a bathroom. Then there were many doors to peoples rooms open where sadly there were multiple people laying in their beds in pretty bad states the middle of the day. Granted, I do not know what their individual cases were, but I my assumption is that their doors were open so that the staff (which seemed to be understaffed) could look in on them as they walked by because they couldn't give more one on one attention. I have visited seven other locations so far, and nowhere did I see people in this state laying, seemingly sad and in pain, on their beds with their doors wide open. It was just odd and unsettling. They also have no green outdoor space. A small cement patio that was not in use and had construction debris next to it. What is completed over in independent living and the interiors everywhere else look beautiful, but for memory care I do not believe the massive size, configuration and current utilization combined with what appeared to be a large ratio of caregiver to resident is the best environment for someone with dementia Alzheimer's to thrive. Too big for us, not the right fit and the person I made the appointment with sent someone else out to meet with me and tour...which seemed "off" - kind of impersonal and clinical. Also, I asked for their occupancy and with the numbers she gave me, I was stunned because I only ever saw three assisted living residents walking around (I only met first with the rep in independent living, but did not tour, because it did not pertain to me.) I spoke with two residents in assisted living and they were very happy living there, but they were also much higher functioning and independent that my Grandmom and so could take themselves around. Other than them and a small origami gathering on the 2nd floor of assisted living, I saw no one out and about and doing any activities in this massive place. It was empty and devoid of energy.
Thanks God my mom is not longer living in this place. Assisted Living Staff shows total lack of compassion. Obviously they don't have the sensitivity needed to take care of seniors. My dog has had better treatment from the doggy daycare! They give the most minimal amount of care. They don't follow up with family. Staff gives you dirty looks when you ask them questions. Take your loved ones elsewhere!! Recommendation to ownership... Clean house! Bring in caring staff. Train them on how to deal with confused old people. Oh and how about the nasty food that is served! How about getting some real food for these people! What a disgrace!
