Welcome to Thrive and a fresh perspective on senior living. Over a decade ago we took a hard look at traditional senior living. We quickly knew we would not want to visit most of these places, let alone live there; so, we created communities where Elders would not only love to live, but Thrive.
What do most people think of when they see gray hair? They see frailty and disability with low speeds, and high needs. What do we see at Thrive? We see wisdom. We see laughter. We see ability. We see growth. We see potential. We see opportunity. These divergent views from tradition have caused a decade of incredible growth. We have built a company and a team of people who align on these beliefs.
Today we have almost 1,000 team members (employees) in our communities who come to work each day in the pursuit of meaningful relationships with our Elders*. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we love our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.
At Thrive, we've dedicated our lives to ensure there is...

Thrive at Jones Valley in Huntsville, Alabama. My mother was a resident at this facility. She arrived at Thrive with a diagnosis of dementia. Thrive talks the talk of knowledge about people with dementia but did not perform the appropriate help needed in dealing with their behaviors. I could never recommend this facility to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring and loving place for their loved one. The facility has a pretty look on the outside but rooms are not clean and my mother was not bathed appropriately as well. Terrible care!

Dear Vicki, Please know that it was very difficult for us to read your review. We take all feedback seriously, and we recognize the importance of our role in caring for older adults. Our team is comprised of people who have a special place in their hearts for older adults, and we collectively hold a core belief that every breath breathed serves a purpose. We equally value you and your feedback, and we want to ensure that you are heard. We want to take this opportunity to let you know what we provide and expect from our team. Our memory care neighborhood is comprised of team members who have been trained and certified by the National Institute of Dementia Education (NIDE). This ensures that our team members know how to best care for our residents who are living with Dementia. We also have personalized care plans for each resident in which we continually monitor and evaluate them to be sure that we can provide the level of care that they need within our community. In addition, we have set schedules in place for all of our residents’ bathing and grooming needs as well as an ongoing community/resident suite cleaning schedule. We take great pride in our community being a safe and healthy environment for both our residents and our team members. While we wish we could’ve been the perfect fit for your loved one, we hope she finds her perfect home. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience in more detail. Please feel free to call me. Thank you, Kelli Long Community President
My family thought this was the best place for me. The people are very nice and go above and beyond!
My aunt lived at Thrive and we were so pleased with the care team and management team! [names removed] made the process so easy and seamless for us. They built a relationship with my Aunt and made a positive impact in her life. I would recommend Thrive to any family looking for a community for their loved one!
We chose Thrive at Jones Farm because we liked the location and it was a secure facility which is good because she is good at sneaking out. You have to have a key card to get in and out of the memory care unit. We feel safe with her here, they seem to be taking great care of her. In memory care, the room sizes are big but the layout is just a little weird. I have eaten here and I think that this is something they could use improvement on. There is no flavor and the foods are not as fresh as they could be. My favorite part is the whole staff seems to know each resident by name. I would and we have recommended this facility.
Before entering my loved one into this community there were a lot of promises of taking care of my parent that has not been fulfilled. Communication skills is their weakest point. The next weakest point is knowledge on how to take care or deal with demented seniors. Traning is needed.
Mom was there for over a year in Memory side. When things became difficult for her due to dementia, they shipped to a psyche ward to get meds adjusted. Dementia care requires people trained to handle dementia behavior. They have none, despite the marketing and recruitment promises. Hourly care givers can be good or bad, but management did not care enough to do what was right. Found another place that is 10 times better.
My mother lives there in the Memory Care. It is a thoughtful loving environment for my mother. I was so glad she moved there and know that she is getting the best care available. We really love [name removed], the nurse practitioner. She is receiving better care than when she was seeing her General Practicioner. The food is really good and she never complains. We love this place better than any other in Huntsville.
The staff is nice and made me feel welcome. The residents were happy and having fun at social hour.
This place is by far the best in town! It was clean and smelled good. Everyone was happy.
Beautiful community, with wonderful, warm, and caring staff. The residents are always out and about each time I have been to the community. Everyone is always smiling and look happy.
Such great people that work there. Always seems to have activities going on with the residents. It's a great facility and would recommend it to anyone. Great people, great residents, great place.
The facility is beautiful and kept clean and well maintained. The staff is always friendly and happy to help. [Name removed] gives a great tour and always speaks to and shows affection for the residents who live there.
