It's one of the better places to look at. Overall, it was clean, with no bad smells and no traces of dust. The people I saw seemed active. I didn't see any that looked like they were in distress or anything like that. The setting was beautiful, and the grounds were kept well. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It looked like they had good individual and group activities. My overall impression was it was a pleasant place to be.... Read more

I feel they do a great job at giving the residents opportunities for activities and different ones all the time. We felt Redstone Village was the best value for the money. The communication is good with the staff, they update me with anything the medical staff has told the caregivers about my loved one. They keep me informed with any concerns.
The staff is excellent and the process at the beginning was very easy. I can't say enough about the staff they are wonderful. I would definitely recommend this community to others
They are very caring. They try to set up facetime and visits to help keep families involved. The room sizes are great. They also offer garages which are rare. I think it is the best one in the area. The residents are great and I think it is a wonderful place. The food is good, and they offer lots of choices. They have lovely gardens and paths
Grandview Gardens Memory care provides everything that my mother needs whether she realizes it or not. I should have brought her here a long time ago.
Wow, this has me spoiled for anything else, I'm afraid. Really a beautiful place, and apts are beautiful. Feels like home. Even has ice maker in door of frig. Large bath with large shower, plenty big for shower chair. Both more formal and casual dining rooms. Lo ts of activities and residents up and around all areas. I very much liked this place. Can use LTC insurance withassisted and up levels of care. Has skilled nursing also. BIG buy-in and larger mo fee than others, but might be worth it.
I moved into Redstone Village Select ( Independent Living) [date removed]. Apartments are very nice , there meals each day with great selection are outstanding, Service persons go beyond job requirement, and above all, the residents and employees are happy
Outstanding value Resident's opinion is a great way to judge - after being here six week, I have met no one unhappy about choosing Redstone Village. The staff is friendly and helpful and seem to really care for us. The food, very important, is tasteful and healthy and always several selections. I visited several places in the Huntsville area before my selection - none compare to Redstone Village.
We are very happy with the living accommodations, food service, and caring attitude of the personnel at Grandview. Residents are given a variety of activities to choose from, including outside excursions, and transportation to serve personal needs.
As I was first trying to get a relative into the memory care facility, my first encounter with the staff was overwhelmingly great. I was in somewhat of a state of confusion with serious family situations, including a death in the family, and the people at Redstone Village allowed me to see that I did not have to go through this alone, and that they would be helping me throughout the process. Over the months that my relative has now been there, the staff was always friendly, outgoing, and helpful, telling me things of which I should be aware about my relative, and things I should take care of to make the whole thing work out well. They make sure that I know that it is a team effort, not one I must face alone. I have found the food well balanced and nutritious, and the caretakers totally adaptive to my relative's needs, regarding time of eating, etc. Also, after presenting the proper paperwork, I have been allowed to bring my dog, whom my relative and other residents adore, and who perks her and the others up when she (the dog) comes. I have never heard a cross word from the staff, in spite of the fact that my relative can be quite a handful. The staff is patient and loving. So, I can honestly recommend Redstone Village for excellent care and great facilities.
We met with [name removed] and she took us on a wonderful tour of Grandview Gardens Memory Community. The community is very spacious, rooms are nice, and the staff are very welcoming. They have plenty of activities scheduled and our Mom seemed very comfortable when we visited.
Our family is very pleased with the staff and their attention to detail for my Mother's care. Lots of activities and iteration! The facility is bright and cheerful! This has been a great choice for my Mother and family.
Corrupted. Executive Director and Food Service Director worked together previously. After numerous attempts and complaints. She still won't do anything about his conduct to employees. They act like its OK to scream and holler at people. They have to try hard to show residents they even care about them. Behide their backs they complain and say its because they are old and don't know what they are saying. Total disrespect. Stay away if you truly care for your loved ones. You will be glad you did.
Grandview Gardens at Redstone Village is such a beautiful place. The decor is interesting and happy. The activities director is such a gem--bright, funny, and truly enjoys her interactions with the residents. Everyone else who works there seems to enjoy their jobs too, and the views all around are gorgeous.
My parents moved into RV last spring and have enjoyed it from day one. They socialize daily with new friends, are involved in activities they enjoy and have wonderful meals every day.
Sleek warehouse. Pretty but dysfunctional. The employees are very nice, but the system is broken. Nurses in assisted living are pill dispensers only, not alert for problems. That is when nurses are on duty which is not the case all the time as per their literature. Administrators disorganized. 3 months after insurance forms submitted they are still not returned to insurance company.
Redstone has been the perfect fit for our family member so far. With such a personal and emotional decision making process, we were able to find that we were comfortable here and that our family member would be well taken care of. All of their services have been wonderful, and the staff has been very helpful. The food has been great: there is a wide variety, and they pay close attention to all of the wants and needs of the residents. There are also many activities to choose from, always something to do. Definitely consider Redstone!
This is a very nice place. I liked the apartments but very few people walking around. It seems they stay in their apartments most of the time.
Very expensive! Not worth it. Too far away from the family and the hospital.
