We had a good tour at The Village at Brookfield Common. I thought it was an excellent facility and on an even par with the other places that we toured. Because they were all so similar to one another, my family member simply chose based on her preferred location.
The staff and their care services have been really good so far. The meals used to be really good but because they recently switched chefs the meals are kind of a hit or miss. They do have a lot of activities aside from their daily activities, we enjoy that they bring in live entertainment. We feel like the rooms and gathering areas are nice and spacious.

This is nice place and where my loved one wanted to be. They are currently waving their security deposit, and they are giving this back to my loved one. The activities could be improved and have more for the residents to do.

Things are going very well at The Village so far, the staff members and their care services go above 5 stars. We love all the personal touches and the main director [name removed] greets all of the residents by their first name

We did a virtual tour of this community and the staff was very friendly and informative. They followed up with us and answered all of our questions
I would recommend this community to friends. Due to the care that the residents get, and it feels like a home away from home. This is how they make you feel. You feel warm, and my loved one is very cared for. The activities have included board games out in the hallways and in the dining room. The memory care unit has a dining room of their own. The started indoor and outdoor visits, and the hairdresser just opened back up since COVID. The communication has been really good. The nurses are so caring. My loved one fell and the nurses were very good at keeping me updated with calls twice a day. The owner of the operations anytime there is an update we receive communication from him directly keeping us updated.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the community replaced all the couches in the common area with leather instead of cloth because it is easier to clean. They have also been very responsive to families, updating us on what is going on within the community. The staff has done a nice job with engaging my father in the wide array of activities they are offering. They have previously brought in outside entertainment, had family involved events for holidays, and more. My father loves the food here, specifically the soup.

I liked the Village at Brookfield. It was an affordable option. The food was good. They offer various care levels and price points to suit each person's individual needs. We liked that it is a smaller size community and felt cozy and welcoming. They have a calendar of events, they had choral groups brought in to entertain the residents, which we enjoyed.

As a senior owned company hired by The Village at Brookfield Common to provide entertainment to their residents the organization does not pay their invoices for small companies. The educational presentations have been well received but each time payment is requested through invoices it takes months and finally social media reviews to be paid. It seems to be a practice to not pay for seniors for entertaining their residents.

I really liked this community when we toured it. The location is great. It is set back, so it appeared to be in a quiet, country setting, but it was still close to shopping and other conveniences. They had a lot of activities at this community, and the resident rooms were very spacious. The only issue was that they did not have a space available when we were looking.

This is a nice community. The staff is nice and very caring to my mom's needs. The menu is good and she pleases with the menu. The community does try and keep her active with the others in the activities that are helpful. I like knowing that my mom is getting the care that she is needing. We would recommend the care from this community for other families wanting good care for a good value.

I have no complaints about how things went during my tour I had taken for my loved one at this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to offer us lots of great information about everything they had to offer. They had a nice floor plan with lots of great amenities to all of the residents. It was just not the right location for my mother in the end decision.
