The people are very friendly. Everyone seems happy and eager to welcome you. The staff is amazing. From the custodians to the restaurant servers, to the office staff, there is a 'happy to help you" attitude that makes you feel comfortable and at home. There have been really good activities and they just hired an activities director that should add more. After three months, I know that I made the right decision for myself and look forward to a long term stay. This is a very nice community. The staff were friendly when visiting my loved one at The Lodge. The food is only available five days a week. The apartment has a kitchen and washer and dryer in it. The maintenance teams seem to be quick to resolve requests submitted my the residents. I believe my loved one is happy here.

The community is very pretty, pleasant and nicely maintained. Our mom loves it there and all of her friends do it. They have tried other communities but they are glad they came to The Lodge, they all are very happy. The value for the money is great and the best that we found in the area. We would recommend this community to others.

The staff is good, and they try do their best. They're friendly. But the property is older and having problems because of that. The air conditioning is failing, and my loved one has been without air conditioning for a month. The appliances are breaking down, and they can't get the necessary supplies - same with AC. They just lost their food service company, so they'll be without food until they hire a new company, and the residents will have to fend for themselves. Without the meals provided for them, there's not much point in being there. From the outside it looks great. The inside is beautiful and they maintain it well. But the value has really gone down with the food issues. Especially because on top of rent, you have to pay for electricity, internet, cleaning, and meal plans, with an extra charge for choosing food options other than the dish of the day.

We have never had any issues with the cleanliness of the community, and sometimes our loved one likes the food and other days not so much. The dining room has been opened and closed a couple of times, and when it was closed the residents could have their food delivered. They use to have a lot of off sight activities where they could go visit different attractions. They are slowly starting to bring back activities, our loved ones favorite is the Wii bowling. They have to control the crowds of people so the activities are spread out over a span of a couple of weeks. They used to have thirsty Thursday which is a happy hour where a musician would come in and sing and play the keyboard which our loved one really enjoyed.

From what we have seen the activities seem good, they do have bingo, Wii bowling, and poker. The food is getting better, and the rooms are acceptable. Our loved ones have a small two bedroom and two bathroom.

I have lived here for 9 months so far and absolutely love it. I am a 79 year old widower living alone in a 1200 square foot 2/2. The second bedroom is my office, craft room, and my grandchildren's craft room after school. The staff is great, cleanliness perfect, good library and many activities - I am never bored or lonely. Everyone is so friendly. The building is beautiful.

This is an enjoyable independent living facility! I have lived here for 2 years and I participate in all activities! Thank God the lock-down is OVER! Now, we can go back to all of our normal activities: Games, sports; like Wii bowling! We ALL enjoy each other's company! We do not have the Covid-19 disease HERE!

A Place for Mom has scored The Lodge at Bridgemill 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
