As part of our community's mission to enrich the lives of residents, we schedule a dynamic roster of events and activities. We also believe in the power of companionship and encourage group participation often. For residents who enjoy a little more peace and quiet, our community offers lovely views of the surrounding landscape and paved walking trails throughout the campus, a library filled with a vast selection of reading material, and so much more. We often schedule day trips and outings to local attractions and stay involved with the surrounding community.

Our dedicated staff is available 24 hours a day to support residents and provide care services such as incontinence care, medication management, and assistance with daily activities, among other services. We keep a licensed vocational nurse on call, and for residents in need of more advanced services, physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available. Residents enjoy three delicious, nutritionally balanced meals daily, with the option to join fellow residents in the dining hall for restaurant-style dining or call in for room service.

We offer several semi-private, studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Each of our apartments has a cozy, welcoming feeling from the moment you walk through the door. Warm neutral walls, ample sunshine, and crown molding give them a distinctly residential feel, and make it easy to decorate with your personal touches.

Independent living residents have two spacious floor plans to choose from, each with fully equipped kitchens, ample closet space, and tons of natural light. Patio apartments are available as well, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or getting some fresh air while you read. Assisted living residents have the option of a private or semi-private studio, as well as one- or two-bedroom apartments. Our semi private studios include two bathrooms for optimal privacy, and the one- and two-bedroom apartments include a kitchenette. From the beginning/our tour of The Heritage Tomball Senior Living, our experience has been positive. [Name removed] was our contact and was very informative about the facility and was interested in our loved one's needs. The overall cleanliness of the facility is spot on. Very seldom are there any lingering unpleasant odors. The friendliness of the staff and the attendants is astonishing. From the very beginning, everyone was very pleasant. The quality of care is sufficient for my loved one's needs. The staff is outstanding! From [name removed], the Executive Director, to most of the attendants. The food is an area of concern for my loved one, it is not good. However, the staff is aware and the Executive Director is fully aware and taking the necessary steps to make changes and improvements. Time will tell. My loved one is very active in most of the daily activities. From breakfast to Bible study to exercising to lunch to bingo...all before 3pm! On Fridays they have Happy Hour. Exercise classes are a mix from day to day (noodles, drum, etc). On days that there is no bingo, it's a movie day with popcorn, tea party, luau, hangman, board games...so much to name. As for the Value for your money....there's no question that facilities are expensive. The value that I place on Heritage is good. The value that I place is more on if my loved one is SAFE. I feel at ease that she is there and that I don't worry much. Overall, The Heritage Tomball Senior Living is a great facility.

Review for The Heritage Tomball Senior Living
They have a new manager and I'm hoping for better! But, at this point I would not recommend it to anyone. They have a lot of improvements to make. They need to improve on the following: Landscaping, cleanliness of facility, cleaning of occupants rooms, pest control inside and out, charging for dinners to take containers home in to go boxes. We picked this community, because it's close to me and they had availability.

Great care and positive environment.
My father is very happy living at The Heritage. He is well cared for, and it's a positive environment. They have a lot of activities for the residents and post pictures from all events on their Facebook website. It's great to be able to view him participating and socializing.

Not a good experience on many levels
I was unhappy from day one with many different things. The facility is too big for the amount of staffing that they have. We could never get anything accomplished here. They had mixed my mother who is sweet as can be up with another resident who was very combative. They were giving her the other residents medications that were not hers. They are not trustworthy at all. We got her out of here as quickly as we possibly could. It was a horrible experience.

Tour experience
We had a great tour experience at The Heritage Tomball. We loved all of the staff that we interacted with. Financially, this facility probably would have made the most sense for us. But we were looking for my mom who is more introverted and it is just too large. I know that she would have gotten lost. We even got lost at one point!

Tour experience
The Heritage Tomball was a very close second for us. The only thing we did not like about this facility was that it was an old hospital, so there were a lot of rooms and hallways. It was very confusing for us so I could not imagine our loved one trying to get around in a wheel chair. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect! It was just the layout was not as open and bright as we wanted.

An excellent place
We had a few hiccups in the beginning, but things are working out great now that things are straightened out. My mom actually watched The Heritage being built years ago because she lived close by. In her mind she always thought she would live here. She felt very comfortable because she knew the area well. Everybody has been absolutely wonderful and goes above and beyond to help out. The food has been excellent and she has no complaints. It is a wonderful place to live, it is like living on a cruise ship. I have peace of mind knowing that my mother is well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend The Heritage to others.

Perfect for my mom
The on site doctor is very good which some of the smaller places we looked at do not have. It is expensive but it is worth it because she is doing very good here and she has not done well in a long time. They do put a lot of effort and try really hard to please the residents and family, I find that they listen to your questions or concerns that you may have. They have activities provided but my mom has not gone to any yet, we are going to try to go to a church service this weekend and ease her into them. I would recommend and already have to others.

Great staff
This was the second community we had toured and right away you could just tell how nice everything looked. Our loved one seems really happy so far with the meals and dining service. They are not very social so they do not participate in the activities, but on their Facebook page it looks like they have a lot of fun stuff there. We have recommended this community to other families and we will continue to do so.

Good value for the money, great staff
We chose The Heritage Tomball because I really liked the staff when I met them for the first time, the location was good, and it is a great value for the money. The apartment sizes are just fine for what she needs. My mom says that she absolutely loves the food. I would recommend to others looking.

A Stop Gap Measure If You've Reached Your Personal Limit with Caregiving, But You Must Keep Constance Vigilance
I would recommend The Heritage Tomball with some reservations. They were short staffed during my loved one's stay. My loved one would get one shower instead of two showers a week. The activities were limited and due to the pandemic they weren't able to start church services up again. The dining room has assigned seating and this wasn't conveyed to the residents.

A Place for Mom has scored The Heritage Tomball Senior Living 8.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
