The right-hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. The communication is horrible and you can not get ahold of anyone and they don't keep you informed of what is going on with your loved one. I would not recommend this community to others
The biggest issue I had was the amount of turnover in these types of places. I had no idea that the turnover was that great, from the director down to the worker bees. Because of the turnover, you really don't get to know them as well as you would like. There have been some exceptional ones, and there have been some that say they usually work at night and are just filling in because so and so quit. So you don't have the relationship you would have with them otherwise. And that's important. They're taking care of your loved one. In general, it's not a bad place. It just bothers me the amount of turnover they have. In general, they do do their jobs. I don't see a whole lot of extra. I would have liked to see more of a passion in that type of work. I know I personally couldn't do it. It's a tough job. Compared to what I've seen at other facilities, they do a good job keeping it clean. It didn't smell like other places I've been. But it's still not quite up to the standard I would think it should be.
I was looking for a place for my dad after the death of my mom. The sales director and the Executive director tried everything to make my financial situation work. Unfortunately it didn't work for us but the fact that they tried several different things to make it work. Im thankful they took the time to even attempt to make it work. Most people when i explain dont even listen nor refer me to anyone for help. They however reached out to people to help. If our situation changes we will be back...
I have noticed a huge improvement since bringing my loved one here. I can tell you from previous management finances have been all that was cared about. UNTIL now.. the staff always go the extra mile. They truly treat my dad like their own. They cry when he crys they worry when we worry. We wouldn't want him anywhere else.
I truly enjoy the smiling faces that we see every time we come in. They have truly been a blessing during the covid experience. The executive director and RN call and inform us personally with any changes. To me means alot. They may not be the newest but they sure are the nicest. We are happy with everyone there.
I have enjoyed the new team that took over there.. Communication is wonderful. They truly try to make a difference everyday. Its a older look on the inside but the care we have received is what truly matters. We are thankful to have moved mama in to this community.
They have truly made a difference. The love and care they show now AMAZES me.. They truly have a great team in place. They always want to help
Mom has only been there a short while and all seems well. She fell and had to be transported to the hospital and I was well pleased with the staff response
Small, homey atmosphere was pleasing. The center courtyard was pretty and our guide for the tour was very nice. However, the smoking area allowed odor into the hallways and we were told that residents had complained about the odor and there was also a complaint about noise level from certain residents. My concern is that there isn't a physician nor a podiatrist that visits the site unlike other facilities we toured. Also I had some concerns about the med administration which was not taken to residents rooms but they were expected to get them from the med tech room. I didn't get the impression that the food offered was up to the quality of some of the other facilities as well
This facility was clean and the Nursing Director sure knew her stuff! This building is also being updated and the staff is newer to facility but brought in to make sure all was being done to help resident remain healthy and safe. This is not a locked building and was one of my concerns. The grounds were very nice and easy access for residents
dont go here they do not have good nurses there only med tecs that are rude to family members and the residents ,half of them walk around with cell phones on personal conversations.they are only there for the pay not for the love of resident or medical care ,i am looking for another place to put mom in ,she is there now and i want her out,it is making her depression worse
More simple community with a very kind and warm feeling. The rooms are ok and can be easily made more personal and the location was really good. Smaller sized facility and [name removed] was easy to talk with
I liked the facility. The assisted area is not secure and the price for both my parents was reasonable but higher than our budget. The memory area is all inclusive but add on charges in assisted area placed this over budget. Nice outdoor areas on both sides.
took about 3 minutes to decide something was not right so my son and I left.
My mother was there for 1 1/2 years. There are some people there who do care about the residents, but they cannot compensate for the cold and unconcerned attitude from upper management and the corporate owners. They demand a high profit margin and keep cutting back on costs to the point that the food is often inedible and activities almost nonexistent. As one other post mentioned, a lot of employees have either quit or have been fired recently and MANY residents have moved out. I hope that when they replace the management it will be with warm and caring people who can turn the place around. But having appealed to people in their corporate office and their regional directors I am not overly optimistic as they didn’t want to hear what I had to say and just didn’t seem to care.
My wife's mom has been there for almost a year and that year has been the worst nightmare we all have ever experienced. The management is totally unfriendly and unaccountable. They appear to have no interest in the people there. As for the hourly workers, what can you expect for $9 hr workers with no teaching available. One of the people there started a Family Group to try and focus management on the concerns people and families felt. You would have thought that person had tried to screw them over. But they do that to themselves already, they were trying to help. Right now people are leaving in droves as I heard they will not let family members sit down to eat with their family member and other friends at their table. Go somewhere else, until management wakes up and does what they are say they are doing.
[Removed] was fantastic and clearly has a deep understanding and appreciation for the needs of the residents at Greenville Place. Very nice facility and programs. Not sure it is the place for my Mother, but has much to offer for those seeking Assisted Living.
There have been a few glitches here since my husband has moved in and the staff has been very helpful in helping me take care of them. My husband's private room in the assisted living area is very nice there is a small courtyard just outsie his door where we can go and sit to visit. There are a lot of amenities for the residents here who want to take part in them. My husband is still in the adjustment phase and we are taking things as they come.
Assisted Living is not what my husband needed, he is going to a skilled nursing community. They were there when I needed a place for him. I have stayed over at the community for a few hours and it was a clean community. At times the staff did not come in right away when we used the push call button but they did try the best they could.
This a pretty nice community, and our tour of it went well. We toured it for my grandmother, and her needs. The experience went well. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. The community was well-kept from what we saw. The staff we met was polite, and helpful. We did find another community that met our needs better, but we a pleasant tour of this community.
