Review for Park at Franklin
She was happy with the activities but this was not worth the cost and I would not recommend this place in a million years. It's not clean, trash in hallway and overflowing garbage in dumpsters all around the property, they have bed bugs in several units, staff is not friendly, she doesn't use care services and wouldn't use them if we had to.

This place has many pros
I like it I think it’s a good community. There are many pros here, and only one con that I can even see there are libraries and classes trips and Theatre the office has treated me kindly I like it my only con is the laundry room. They don’t have enough of them. They are too far away and they are not working properly. I didn’t know that when I came had I known, I probably would’ve made a different decision because the laundry facilities was number one on my list of things I had to have in order to move somewhere. I would not have moved here. Had I known the laundry were so bad they are not enough of them and if you go to the B building. There’s not even one over there at all and only one in every area, only 2 in the whole building For everyone and they don’t work properly they take your money. It’s too bad because other than that it’s a great place. Had I known what the facilities was it would’ve been a dealbreaker. I really hope they correct that if they do it would be good.

While Not Perfect, Overall a Nice Place to Live
The building residents are very friendly. There are some building connectivity issues with the internet. The buildings front office provides easy access to residents for food delivery, and other service providers during business hours. I liked the fact that the utilities are included although the thermostat just allows you to adjust the heat from high to low, to off. There is no temperature control for heat or A/C.. This is still a big savings. The location of building was central. The maintenance team has been very prompt in responding to concerns when the complaint is filed online.

The staff and the atmosphere were welcoming. The 1st floor was enticing. Nails & hairdresser in residence. Food services in-house with payment. I would tell a friend to do more research. Security is very important, and none is provided. These apartments are very pricey.

Friendly supportive staff
When it comes to the meals and medication, they were often late due to the staffing shortages. The people in assisted care however respond to requests quickly for most of the time. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Park at Franklin community to other families.

Don’t do it
They were very friendly when moving in . Once the lease was signed, never could get anyone to answer the phones. My loved one was in assisted living. Had to go to hospital. When she was returned there was no one there to let her in. She had to go back to the hospital. Until the next morning. I live out of town, and couldn’t bring her back. Once we weren’t happy had to jump through hoops to get out of the lease. Have to get something from doctors stating she can not be alone, which she was in assisted living which made no sense. Hopefully the new management team will do better

Hello! My name is Duy and I am the Director of Marketing over Park at Franklin. I am part of the new management team that has taken over the property. I am sorry to hear about the challenges and lack of communication that you encountered. I am more than happy to speak to you more about this and see what we can do to make this right. If you reach out to our Central Office directly, they will connect you to me and I would be grateful to learn more about your experience so we can improve. Thank you.

Love this place!
Per all my ratings above, this is a great place. I visited four different places and just kept coming back to Park at Franklin. I I liked the brightness and friendliness of the community, and I liked the ease of them showing me things and answering questions. That was very impressive to me. The apartments are very roomy, with lots of storage. My loved one has four big closets, when most places had one, maybe two. You get a lot of bang for your buck - they offer a lot for the price. I would highly recommend them!

Roaches
Only the main building/entrance seems to be maintained. Other buildings/entrances lack the same maintenance and cleanliness, specifically building B. Once the sales team signed the lease, it was VERY difficult to get ahold of anyone for problems. I’ve noticed many of the reviews refer to “The Fountains.” Be aware there is a new management company with a seemingly different standard. We were making plans to move my family member out the same day we were moving in. She was only there for 2 weeks (in assisted living). Upon moving out, we noticed roaches. The staff seemed unsurprised when we mentioned it. The hall has new carpet and paint, but the conditions are still dirty.

If You're a Senior Citizen and You Want Want to Act Like A Senior Citizen Don't Come Here
This has been a good experience for me at Park at Franklin. The staff at the front office is really friendly to work with. There is movie day, popcorn day, trips to the store, exercises classes, live music, and more for activities for the residents to choose from. They even provide a calendar of activities to the residents. The apartment I have is good for me and there is even a terrace on some of the apartments. I don't care for the fact that the staff will just come into your apartment unannounced. There is new management so we will see if this will change.

Everything Isn't What Is Cracked Up To Be
There is something in the building my loved one is in that makes me itch every time I visit. The front desk people can be rude. It is just an okay place for my loved one. They community keeps putting off moving my loved one to the first floor due to them doing a bathroom remodel.

Tour of Park at Franklin
Park at Franklin is a newer facility. My mom is very interested in possibly moving here. It is less money than where she is staying right now and apparently they have some specials coming up in April. So far she is happy with what she has seen/heard about the place. I am just waiting to hear back from them.

tour of Park at Franklin
we briefly saw the outside of Part at Franklin and this place really looked like a dump, we couldn't even tell if there was a lobby. the parking lot was small and unkept. the building looked like old apartments that they decided to turn into an senior living place. we initially scheduled a tour, but the outwardly appearance made us not go inside.

A Place for Mom has scored Park at Franklin 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
