I strongly recommended not to go there. It has changed ownership several times and has really gone downhill. With the change, they seem to have had a big turnover in staff. It's no longer as clean as it used to be, and repairs are no longer done quickly. It's hard to even find someone to help you with anything. They don't follow the care plan outlined in my loved one's contract. For a while, they had a visiting protocol where you had to schedule an appointment and have a negative Covid test. But they never verified the Covid test results, so what's the point in having the protocol if you're not going to follow through with it? They let in a visitor who had Covid, and had they checked and followed their own protocol, that person would not have been allowed in.
Unfortunately our loved one was sicker then what we had thought so he was not able to spend more then just a couple hours at the community, but they were wonderful. They were extremely friendly, but our only issues we had is even though he stayed only a couple hours they did not refund us on the 1-month rate we had paid.
We toured Park at Franklin and it was a really nice facility. We felt more comfortable going with a smaller place with less residents during covid so that is why we did not choose it.
We were happy with this community until [date removed] when there was a management change. The nursing staff and marketing staff don't communicate and pricing has dramatically increased. depending on your situation you this community might fit your needs.
The director at the community was great, they were wonderful people. The people that are there are very nice and overall it was a nice community. It was a great place, it was set up nicely with an open concept and very accessible to all residents. However the food service at the time was lacking, they would charge you for when you had to pick up your meal, as well as room service. My experience with room service was okay, something was always wrong or missing. My room at the time was what they had available, but it was to small. Only about 550 sq ft.
The staff members at the community are very friendly and helpful. They have a pager system that is very hit or miss. If the residents who is in needed of help pushes the button, it may take them up to an hour to come by. Sometimes the pager system does not work so they never come. However when they do come to help, they do a good job. Compared to other places the value seems pretty reasonable.
We have only been able to visit this community twice due to COVID, but from what we have seen it seems pretty clean. The care services are good, and the price for what they have to offer is reasonable. Our loved one has a kitchenette in his apartment, plenty of space for his stuff and he has his own privacy which was very important.
I would want others to know when looking into Park at Franklin that I do not think that the staff members here are trained to handle mental health residents, especially with Alzheimer's memory care. I would never recommend this community to anybody.
It is a good place. You need to stay active. The room sizes and layout of the community is good. The food was fair. They have an outdoor space for residents to use. The staff was attentive. Overall it was a positive experience.
It is usually good. At times it is hard to get people to get back with you to answer questions and address issues. The food is okay. The room sizes and layout of the community is good. Most of the staff is good.
The Park at Franklin has increasingly gone down over the years. The director is un-responsive to calls, letters from families or residents. Voice mail is full - calls not returned. It's a routine most have just resolved themselves to live with if they have family here or a resident. The independent living residents are now entering their THIRD month of house-keeping service suspension! The COVID-19 had an impact on staff as with many senior residences, but by now (third month) this should have been resolved. Seniors are now living in unsanitary conditions due to the housekeeping suspensions. YET THE MONTHY RENT STAYS THE SAME. No credit and no housekeeping!
I like the layout of the Park at Franklin. My uncle does not like the food. They don't have very many menu choices. He says they offer a lot of hot dogs and hamburgers as options. They have outdoor space and a walking path.
My mom is completely satisfied and happy with the Park at Franklin!!!

I went to the Park at Franklin for a tour for my Grandmother and I was very pleasantly surprised at this gem in my community. I had a wonderful tour and loved the amenities. They are running a great special for their facility too.

My Mother lives at Park at Franklin and loves it. She has been there for over 2 years and has a circle of friends. It is a very active community with a caring staff. She feels safe and happy there.
A lot of promises were made before we signed all the papers, only to find out afterwards that they were “in the process “ of setting up activities. The caregivers do not appear to be trained in dealing with dementia patients as they keep calling family members to try to resolve issues over the phone. We find ourselves directing them how to deal with the situation. Again, we were “sold” on the special care that would be required. Even the doctor is frustrated because the behavior is not out of the ordinary for a dementia patient.

Would you please call me at [removed] at your soonest convenience so we can address and resolve your concerns as quickly as possible? Thank you, Dolanda Scott, Executive Director
Nice place to live, the rooms are dated, but maintenance is very quick to make repairs. The continental breakfast has nothing "continental" about it. Oatmeal served in a pot at least 10 years old, generally lumpy and overcooked. The orange juice and cranberry juice is so watered down it's ridiculous. Cold muffins and a toaster that if you don't know how to work it, will burn your toast consistently. The housekeeping staff is a joke, they don't dust nor do they do sufficient cleaning, especially the bathrooms. If you require a caregiver, do NOT take referrals from the staff there, and if you do, PLEASE request documentation they're registered AND insist on references, and phone numbers where you can speak to their previous patients personally. The dinner menu is the one bright spot! The food is very good, and always hot.
The Fountains At Franklin has a lot to offer its residence.Very clean and friendly staff.

They went above and beyond to “sell” the facility but once committed we found out that the Memory Care Director and staff were new and just starting to get activities and programs in place. Also, finding that not all staff possess the same level of compassion for their new residents who are having a hard time acclimating to the new environment.
