Oconee House is a senior living community located near the banks of Lake Oconee in Oconee, Georgia. Oconee House is located in a quiet, rural area of central Georgia where senior residents can enjoy a bounty of outdoor activities at one of the four large country clubs that are only minutes away. Seniors at Oconee House are trying to get away from the clamor and stress of big cities. Here they enjoy a quiet environment where they can spend the day golfing or playing tennis at a nearby, top quality country club. It is like a small resort in the middle of Georgia. The city of Atlanta, with its wealth of fine dining, historical attractions, and sophisticated entertainment and shopping is roughly an hour's drive away, making it perfect for day trips.
Comfort and dignity are the primary concerns of the staff at Oconee House. We understand that every day chores become difficult as people get older, which is why our staff provides caring, but non-intrusive assistance for our seniors with grooming, hygiene, food preparation, exercise, and ambulation. We work 24 hours a day to make seniors feel like our secure, but not restricted at Oconee House.
