Overall pleased
My loved one is currently a resident of Morada Burleson and the experience has been good overall so far. The staff, housekeeping, and office personnel are good. Just the chef/cook is the problem. The food at this facility is horrible. My loved one is wanting to order takeout/delivery from outside restaurants again like she did before moving here. Other than the food, my mom is pleased with Morada Burleson overall.

Overall pleased

Tour experience at Morada
Morada Burleson staff were wonderful during our tour experience. They would be able to give Mom the medical attention she needed as they are quite small which was a real plus. The building was a bit outdated. I did not like the location on such a busy street.

My review of Morada Burleson
I rate everything at a 5 except for the food, my mother complains about the food. They have a new chef coming. They do have activities. They also wash and make her bed and do very light cleaning, it meets her needs. Yes, I would recommend to others. She's settling in and making some friends.

My Loved One is Happy Here
My dad and his wife love being there. My dad has been a big hit there and wants to start an exercise class.
The employees have been really nice and my dad loves to kid them and they kid him back.
I do think the food needs to be better. They complain about it a lot. But I'm not eating it.

Perfect fit, just what we were looking for
We have had a wonderful experience with Morada Burleson, they are doing a great job. This facility really is the perfect fit for my mom and we have had no complaints what so ever. From the food to the welcome to the care to the attitude of the staff, it has all been amazing. The directors office is right there by the reception desk so she knows what is going on and her door is always open. I would highly recommend Morada to others.

Homelike friendly atmoshere
My friend was at another assisted living, she is 80 and had just given up , her daughter listened and moved her , she is a complete turn around . She goes to dining room, goes shopping, movies , has made new friends and doing so well. Could not have made a better decision. Activities, friends , great staff. The staff are cheerful amd friendly.

Overall pleased
We chose Morada Burleson because they accept Medicaid. So when my father runs out of money, he will be able to stay and not have to move elsewhere. The location has also been great and it is close to me. I go a couple days a week and I have been happy with everything and everyone here. One thing that could use improvements would be the activities, they are a little lacking. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Morada Burleson because I saw how friendly all of the staff were, the facility itself was very clean, and the value for the money was great. I was super impressed with the director as well and still am. The staff are extremely attentive to their residents. We are pleased with Morada and would highly recommend them to others.

My review of Morada Burleson
When our loved one was moving in the community was going through a major transition. This caused some staff problems, turn over in staff and lack of communication. It seemed when you asked a question to one person you would get an answer, and then if you asked another person that same question you got a different answer. Since they do not have the staff, house keeping has been lacking in the residents room. Our loved one has had some very good aids, and others not so much. They do send our an activities sheet showing activities they offer, but only bingo is being done. Also we have heard the food there is not very good, it is served in small portions and just poor quality. We do believe if they fix the staffing problems, things will definitely improve.

The cleanliness of the community really stood out to us. I have been able to eat some meals with my loved one and the food they serve would be about a four out of five. If you don't like something they offer different options.

Caring community
It's a very caring facility. The staff who work there really seem to like to residents that live there. We were pretty happy with the facility. We chose this community because its location was close to my house and it was only one community I found that transitioned into medicaid if needed. The food was decent and my mother seemed to like it. I would recommend this community to other families.

Horrible Facility for your loved one
This PLACE is SO BAD for anyone! I wouldn’t put my WORSE enemy in this facility!!! We thought it was going to be great three weeks in a NIGHTMARE!!! PLEASE take this review very seriously.... you pay a lot of money for all these services and you basically get three meals. THAT’S IT!!!! When you bring the problems to the directors attention your told I’ll handle it just give us a chance and two weeks later things are BAD AGAIN!!!! Very few employees even care about the residents or all the bad that goes on up there, it’s so sad!!! I could write pages of things that have happened and things my family have seen and heard about. I can’t imagine this place lasting much longer with how bad things have gotten. These people are so nice to your face and as soon as you walk away a few of them get together and bash you behind your back!! I’m not sure why these women (girls) act So childish... This move was the biggest mistake ever made by my family!! Don’t make the mistake we made! I could go on for days and say so much more , but I won’t hoping that I got my point across to people looking for a good facility, this is not the place!!

Very nice facility. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The residents seemed to enjoy interacting with staff and seemed happy. Apartments were nice and roomy. The only disadvantage is that the building is very large with long halls which someone with limited mobility might find difficult to navigate.

Mom is doing ok being here. She is having a hard time adjusting to her new surroundings though. The staff is nice very kind and helpful. I have not had any complaints about the food so I think she likes it most of the time. They have a few activities and my hope is that she will find something in time that she will start doing.

I like the care at this community. We like the staff who are caring. The menu is very appealing. The community is clean and enjoyable. The activities are offered to the residents who want to participate. We would recommend this community for other families for care and a good value

Great meal selection!!
My mama has really made a smooth adjustment into this community. The staff have made sure to help accommodate her needs as best as possible and constantly makes sure she is comfortable in her new living environment. The chef also does a great job with working with her diet and and making sure she gets the appropriate meals. I would defiantly recommend this facility to anyone looking into an assisted living for there loved one.

Mom Loves the Good Community
My mom is doing fine at this community and I picked them because it is convenient for me from where I live and work. It is a good place and she loves it there. It is clean and her room is maintained. It feels like a home to her and she likes the meals. She has bingo, dominoes, crafts and they have a lot of people that come and sing to the residents.
