It's a nice facility and my mom likes it there. They ramping up the activities again and that makes my mother happy. The apt is good-sized, and my mom doest always care for the food. But they will fix her something different if she doesn't like what they serve. I would recommend this community to others... Read more

The staff never communicated with me about my mother and they never knew what was going on. The place smelled of urine and ammonia, carpets and rugs were old and dirty, the food was horrible, they constantly lost my mothers things eventhough I wrote her name on everything. The staff didn’t keep files or records in the residents and didn’t care about them. They locked them in their rooms during covid and didn’t check on them timely. I complained that my mothers tv wasn’t being turned on and it took two months for maintenance to connect the cable after multiple complaints. This place was a slum and I got my mother away from there.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great experience, the community was very clean and the staff were all super friendly.

Our first impression was that we liked the activities they offered, they had bingo. We liked the fact that when they were fully staffed they would keep the residents engaged during the day. However they are now currently understaffed, the food is about average and the rooms are pretty standard

We chose Manchester Court Assisted Living because of the price. The room sizes here are good for one person. I have eaten here and the food is pretty good. I would want others to know that I have had no problems with the staff, I think they are very friendly and seem to really care for the residents. The only complaint I would have is they need to paint and I don't think the residents get enough food to eat for their meals. Overall, I would recommend the facility.

This place is awful said they were going to repaint walls and still hasn’t .... Assisted living side looks OK ....Memory Care side looks awful . Only AL side does activities they bring memory care out once in the mornings for the same stretch class everyday . CNA’S here do not get enough credit !! While they allow other staff to walk around and DO NOTHING !

Response from Manchester Court Assisted Living & Memory Care
October 3, 2019Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry that your experience didn't match your expectations. We continue to strive to do better which is being recognized by our many happy residents and family members. Again, your feedback is important to us and helps us to continue to get better and deliver a better experience.
Do not let your family members stay here. This place is a front and all about money. The new management [name removed] and [name removed] do no better than the last management. The dementia patients are treated like animals. The CNAs do all of the work, meanwhile you have other staff that refuse to help. They may or may not have activities for the week. If on memory care they’re locked on one side. The way the employees are bullied by other employees is sad. This place is a joke. The residents are treated great by some and awful by others. I feel sorry for the staff that have to work here and get treated like garbage.

The visit and tour went very well. Anyone who takes care of an aging parent knows it’s not easy when it’s time to move them into a care facility. I am in the process and hope everything works out because I know this is the place for my mom.

We loved this place , but it’s over our family member’s possible current budget with 2019 price increases. 2018 prices were doable, but only just. We hope they have a vacancy once we have re-positioned some funds.

Response from Manchester Court Assisted Living & Memory Care
October 27, 2017Thank you for your review. If there is anything else we can for you or your mother, please reach out and call us at [removed].
I have no complaints about how things are going for my mother since she has recently made the move into this community. The staff have been wonderful to work with and I am comfortable with the care she has been receiving. She is loving the dinning experience and other activities that are available to the residents throughout the week. Overall it is a great place and we would defiantly recommend it to anyone interested.

Very nice, well-kept small community. Everyone we met was very friendly. This community was very close to our home and just what we were looking for in a new home for my mother.

April 19, 2017Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback.
When we toured the Bristol Village, we thought it was very nice but we were looking for something more home-like. This place was too big and my loved one would not be getting the individual attention we wanted.

This place has been awesome. I was stressed and needed to find my sister a good place very fast and Matthew [Removed] was excellent. He invited us in and was very helpful and a delight to work with. The staff is great with my sister. I am very pleased with the community. The location is super convenient for me and I can visit everyday.

The community does a very good job taking care of my mother. They offer a variety of activities such as bingo night or movie night. I have not tried the meals myself but I have heard the residents complain that the portions are a bit small. For the most part, the community does a good job of listening to the resident's complaints and fixing them.

I got to take a tour here and immediately knew that this place would not work. The community is dark and the rooms are just way to small. I also did not like that they did not have a life alert button for the residents. The staff just goes around to see what the residents schedules are. The price is good, but it just wasn't a match.

The staff are very attentive and nice. The administrator is good and he is quick to respond to our questions. The community is very clean. They offer a lot of activities for the residents to enjoy. Mom likes the food and I would recommend this community.

A Place for Mom has scored Manchester Court Assisted Living & Memory Care 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
