I would recommend the place for people who are still relatively independent. I liked the size of the apartments. Security team could be improved. The staff have been pretty good. They have a new chef, but I have my own meals. I would like to see more activities, and they need to improve on more trips to the store. I would also like to see a pharmacy available for the residents. Make sure you get things, in writing before you move in. They are getting better.

They need to do better because I go there a lot and there are some things that need to cleaned up for those seniors living there. My dad pays a pretty decent amount to live there and the doors are not fixed. I've heard residents say that the door has been broken for well over a year. That's unacceptable. That is also a safety issue for anyone just walking in the building at night.

Legacy at Imperial Village is a really really nice community, it is beautiful. The ladies that would come to do the medicine in the mornings and evenings really did a good job. We do think the value is really good and we would recommend Legacy at Imperial Village to other families. Our loved ones only complaint is with the meals - sometimes they do not have what they say they have on the menu and according to our loved one there is a long wait time before you can even place your order

I toured this community and it was nice. However, it was high rise and we thought it would be too difficult for mom to navigate. Also, the food option wasn't included and was an additional cost.
My loved one has let me know that the food that is advertised in the brochure is not available to the residents. The transportation was running daily, and now they can't find someone to drive the bus so the community may have to stop this service for the residents. This makes it hard for the residents who don't drive to get to doctor appointments and stores for their items needed. I believe there is a laundry room in each building. There are currently only two washers and dryers working in a building and this isn't enough for the residents in the building to wash their clothes. The apartment is very nice for my loved one.

I think it was a great experience it has definitely worked out for my mother in law she is still there and the only thing I would say to improve things is to work with more Facilities so we could have maybe brought her closer to our home in our immediate area there wasn't a lot of facilities that work with a place for mom so we had to take her to a place that was about 45 minutes away and that was the only downside

We toured with Legacy at Imperial Village and the facility itself is a lot older and needed updates. They also just did not have what we were looking for and needed at the time which was a room on the ground floor.
I am trying to get the management to be a little more detailed about the grounds keeping, that would be the biggest complaint. The restaurant overall could be better - they do not seem to have the best variety or service. It is a good value for the money for what you get, especially compared to others that I looked into in this area. I would recommend Legacy at Imperial Village and actually already have.

I probably wouldn't recommend them at this point. They recently had a change in ownership. While their marketing department was fantastic responding to things, they currently have staffing issues. The staff don't have the right skill levels. They're not timely in responding to things. The apartments are just okay. The remodel that they did was rushed and not the best quality.

They are under new management it has ben a year and a half and they are still working on things. Their laundry room is in need of repairs, my mom had to go do her laundry in another building. Her shower has a clog so water goes all over the place. The staff are not encouraging or letting residents know when activities are going on. Cable is included in the rent and we think it is a good value for the money. Overall there are just some improvements that need to be made.

Mom's lived here 1 1/2+ years & it started out great, with the few usual issues in a community like this, it's gone down hill since the new owners took over in early 2021. The bldgs. & it's equipment are old but to entice new residents, they're making lots of cosmetic improvements (paint jobs & beautiful laminate floors), instead of fixing things like leaking water pipes & AC that works some days & not others. If things go wrong on the weekend, they have to wait until Monday. When we call for assistance with ANYTHING, we're spoken to like "this is how it is, whether you like it or not", with no sympathy for elderly residents. We even hired a handyman to make repairs that are "covered" under our rental agreement, because it takes months to get the maintenance crew to just look at the problem. It's an affordable place & mom loves her friends, but if left up to me, she would definitely move. Not worth the frustration of dealing with all the issues , as well as mom feeling unappreciated.

Legacy at Imperial Village has been a good experience so far. the staff are very friendly. the only thing I thing I don't like is the amount of renovations going on right now; but I was made aware of that before moving in.
This place is very good.

This is a great place for your loved one. There are tons of activities and they are pretty affordable compared to other communities. They have activities like a bus that takes them around, games for them to play, speakers that come in, art, a band that comes in once a week, parties for the holidays and more for the residents to keep busy. This is a really diverse community and there are a lot of residents.

I would advise to look elsewhere if financial opportunities allow. My father does not like it here and it is not working out well. The staff are competent and friendly and are attentive as they can be. They are trying to make improvements and they are working with what they have. They have a goal to provide good service but I am not sure if the have the means to get there.

Our family had an in person tour and everything was really nice but it boiled down to the value for the money. We were shown all around the facility but we were not able to see the living quarters, and the person who gave the tour was filling in for another worker and they did not have the authority to show us other parts of the facility.
Those other folks are in another world! I moved in on 9/27/21 and it was not move in ready I have had everything from unconnected TV, still not connected! to loose faucet handles. I have holes in 50% of my screens. Residential Services is mostly unresponsive and claims not their job. They are not managers and unfortunately nothing gets done. You do not have control of HVAC as there is weird formula as to what date heat is activated as well the rest of the system. As a result of their inability to main a high standard of living I have exercised an early lease termination. This is definitely NO PLACE FOR MOM or anyone else looking for quality housing.

They have a lot to offer so I do not really have to leave very often. They have transportation that takes you to stores, appointments, etc. They provide a lot of activities for residents to participate in as well, they have a tv channel that you can tune into to see what is provided for that day. I am in a 1 bedroom and the size is alright, they also just re-did the one that I am in and are in the process of re-doing the others. I would recommend to others looking.
