Imperfect Plaza

The community pays all the utilities and that is built into the rent. I would say work out a deal with the meal plan, and to negotiate the rent. If you want a less expensive place to live, and has a lot of space for the money this is the place. This place has a lot of people dying in the community.

better than no place

the facility has had an issue with theft. We had several things stolen after our loved one passed away. They told us they would look into it in September and they never follow back up with us. I would not recommend this community.

Not good

We just moved my mom out after 7 years in independent living and most recently 3 years in assisted living. Her furniture was so full of roaches it has to be fumigated by the movers because the new facility wouldn’t accept it. After not seeing her up close since a March, her new Dr and the nurse practitioner were alarmed at her out of control swelling of legs and feet as well as fungus growing on her legs, feet and toenails. Communication there is terrible on all fronts. It wasn’t always this bad but it sure is now. Find somewhere else to go.
