I think its cheery and bright and feels very homey. What I've seen has been very clean. The furniture seems new, and everything seems new and clean. I've never noticed any smells, which has been an issue at other places. The staff seem caring and attentive. It's a small place, which I think is good. My loved one has fallen a couple of times, and they're always right there doing what they're supposed do, and they call 911. Their doctors will come in at any time if they're needed. They've been pretty attentive. They're starting to take the residents on little drives through the neighborhood on the bus. They have music during the week, which my loved one enjoys. I've seen an activities calendar, but it's hard to tell what she's actually participating in since she has dementia. When I ask her if she's happy there, she says yes. She's gained weight since she's been there and looks so much better. Everyone who works there seems very caring and compassionate. I feel comfortable having my loved one there, and I don't feel like I have to worry. My only complaint is lack of communication from their doctors, and I'm not a fan of their medical portal either. But the doctors do show up and are attentive.... Read more

This is an outstanding community for care. We like the staff. We do live staff who are able to do all they can to assist in my mom's needs. The community has a nice environment. The menu was appealing. They had activities for those who can participate. We would recommend this community to others

I have no complaints about the care that my mother has been receiving at this community. The staff have been lovely to work with and I am comfortable with the care that they are providing her. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in activities with the other residents from time to time. Overall we are very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

The aids at this community are great. They are nice, friendly, outgoing and let me know what is going on with mom. They do seem to offer a lot of snacks during the day. They keep the community clean. They do offer a few activities, however I think they could add some additional activities. I would recommend this community.

Heart Homes is clean, spacious, and the residents seem well cared for. It is a locked memory care unit. The building does seem as if it could use some renovation or at least some paint and minor repairs. The price point was great for us. So far, this property has made our short list.

I was not expected for a tour. I was given a brief tour, which was more than enough. There was a very strong smell of Lysol throughout, not isolated to one area. I was met at the door by an agitated resident who was hostile. I would not put myself there, let alone my mother. Yet, the rate ran approximately $4500/month.

Nice. There wasn't much activity at the time. The rooms are nice. The outside is fairly large.

Actually, director was not there to greet us however one of the assistants was very kind to show us around and it wasn't until we had gone to the Assistant Living building the the RN phoned and asked us to return to the dementhia building where she gave us an overview of HeartHomes. I was a little surprised as the dining facilities for the residents in the dementhia bldg. was less than bare necessities, and the dining area for the assisted living had table cloths and look a little warmer. I just couldn't see her there. In the dementhia living space there was a little odor too. She was very informative about the home and stessed that this wasn't a Brightview but that they were loyal to their residents such as when they needed to go on Medicaid and if they got so sick they could stay there and hospice would come to them. Which I thought was so wonderful. Kudos to them!!
