I visited a loved one over the Memorial Day weekend, and I could not believe how much this place has changed since the new owners came in. The place was dirty, trash was over flowing in the room, food from the day before was left in the room, and the smell was sickening. My loved one had not showered in days. It broke my heart to see this happening. We have since moved my loved one out of there. Please do not put your loved one through this.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
My mother recently left this facility and we did not have a good experience. There is not enough staff for the amount of residents that are there. The food is not that great and the place is filthy. The carpets are stained and i have seen bugs in the dinning room before. The staff always seemed to be changing as well. They tell you a lot of things to get you in the door and get your money, but they don't deliver. I would not recommend this place to anyone.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
The recreation department is non existent for a majority of residents, memory impaired wonders around asking for help to get out. No music no art no nothing! One day there was music in the main room and no one from recreation came to take anyone. The cleaning lady wheeled out a couple of people well after it started. Thank you to her. It's a crying shame, mentally to all those trapped in their and the poor aids who could use some mental health from these poor souls.

Nancy, as the Executive Director I want to reassure you that at Gracemont Senior Living resident care, safety, and happiness is our top priority. The goal in our Bridge to Rediscovery neighborhood is to provide an environment where seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia can flourish and share a positive life experience. In support of that goal we provide the team members working with these residents specialized training according to our organizations' unique standards and are holding additional training for all staff later this month. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you regarding your observations as we are always looking for ways to improve the services we provide to all our residents. Please contact me at your convenience at the community. Thank you for your consideration.
