The only problem we've had is from day one, we had our loved one's payments set up to be automatically withdrawn form her bank. The month passed, and we were waiting and waiting. Still no withdrawal from her bank account. We called Brookdale, and they said it was all taken care of. It ended up taking two months to get it resolved. And in the meantime we got a nastygram about the overdue account. But that should be all resolved at this point. And accounting /bookkeeping is the only problem we've had. Everything else has been just fine. They seem very involved with their residents. The manager there does a really nice job. And the facility is nicely kept. I haven't seen anything I've been concerned about.
Our family had an in person tour and our experience was very good. They did have restrictions so while we were there at the community, the sales lady had a nurse go around the community with her phone which was very nice. We were very tempted to put our love done there but in the very end it was covid that messed us up. We felt they became short staffed and we wanted to make sure our loved one was going to find and get the best care. Brookdale is a newer community which was very nice
We toured this community and the tour was very good and the staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was there was no one at the front desk and the security seemed to be lacking.
I would highly recommend this community after they made the management change. The communication between the staff and the family is good and they keep us well informed. The staff is very friendly and compasionate also.
They have had a recent change in management and the overall facility has improved drastically from what it was a few months ago. The staff are much more attentive and the new executive director is great, it has made a huge difference. Overall, I would recommend this community other families who are looking.
I've only done a virtual tour because of covid but have done it twice. I like what I've seen so far. The building looks charming & clean & the staff on video seem caring but I would definitely have to visit this place physically before I chose this for my mother. [name removed], the sales manager has been wonderful to work with & generous with her time & very patient with me & my brother's questions.
I would tell my friends that the community is fantastic. The nurses are wonderful, caring, the attention they give the residents is outstanding. You couldn't get better attention from your own family. The food was less than average according to family members of my loved one. The management at the time of move in for my loved one was horrible. The new manager is fantastic, she is training a new director. The manager currently there is a regional manager. The overall parent company itself stinks, lacks in communication, availability, and incorrect billing. All the bills I received had to be debated.
I would tell friends not to put your mother there. My mother was in the community and was sent to a hospital. Brookdale sent her to another hospital and told me the wrong hospital than they sent her. After finding the correct hospital I found out from the nurse at the hospital that my mother wasn't changed and was raw from this. This made me decide to remove my mother from this community. Her medicines were messed up as well.
This community was so clean and the staff was amazing, it was a little expensive but it we paid for what we got. The care services were wonderful, our loved one was taken care of very well especially during COVID. The activities they had were painting class, all kinds of arts and crafts, they had exercise classes, and entertainment groups come in and do sing a longs as well bingo. One thing that really stood out to us was the fact that all the staff members seemed to really care about every resident, they were very kind to everyone. They had big rooms, the entire community was a big circle shape which made it very easy for residents to go out and walk around.
The marketing team was very informative, helpful & caring. Though there was an uncomfortable issue upon arrival the care team seems to show personal interest & endearing attention.

excellent, clean, comfortable facility; very friendly, diverse staff, very accommodating. definitely top on our list.
visited. lots of room to walk around. Courtyard. Other residents that dad could talk with. Saw Dr. [name removed].
When I signed the papers, I was told that they needed to paint before she moved in. We move the furniture In the night before she was getting discharged from the hospital. That's when i saw that they didn't paint, and could do nothing about it. So my mother who has deminta and alzheimer has not had an easy life, she had to go back in the hospital the shortly after moving in. Then after she was back, she fell and had to go to the ER. They called to tell me they called for an ambulance and the name of the hospital. I get to hospital and they have no record of her being there, so after several calls, Brookdale said they would have to call the dispatch and find what hospital she went to. After 90mins we located her. Which in her state should always have a spokes person with her, then when I found her the ER NURSE told me that she was not being changed often and was not cleaned good. She had dried matter still on her very red bottom. And was very sore to the touch. She ended up in the hospital and I found a different facility.
Went to tour with [Removed] back in [Removed] and then went back in [Removed] and had an appointment with [Removed] again to see if things had changed from my last viewing in May as it smelled very bad when I was there last. When I arrived I was shoved off on a new employee [Removed] and had to go over everything about my mother's background, I mentioned that this was an emergency and things would be moving very fast due to my Mother being released out of rehab and that would take a week and a couple days. Did not appreciate having to go over everything I had told [Removed] back in May and this took up much time, not to mention that no notes were being taken like [Removed] did! I had questions and we had to track down [Removed] who was wandering the halls at the time!!! Very upset at the way I was handled, I felt if they treat me that way how will they treat my Mother? I felt when I left without all the figures I needed that it was a total waste of my time! I know my parents would not be happy here at all.
My tour of this community went well, and everyone was kind. The experience was a pleasant one. There were many factors that played into where place my parents for their needs. Unfortunately this wasn't the community for us, but my tour was a nice one overall.
Provided the WOW affect. Staff was extremely professional, building was impressive both inside and out. [Removed] and [Removed] did an awesome job providing me with a tour and introduction to the team. I met several residents enjoying a stroll, witnessed residents playing a competative game of BINGO with the staff and laughing. Activities Director was very personable and I can see why she loves her job.
My Dad has been at Brookdale for nearly 2 months now. We have found the staff to be cheerful and respectful. Dad is well taken care of. He has freedom to roam around and mingle with the other residents. You can tell that the staff are dedicated and care about the welfare of the people that live there and handle the difficulties that arise with grace and efficiency. The facilities are bright and cheerful. There is an outdoor area that is secure and is mostly open for the residents to roam about freely. The environment is one that is both secure but not overly controlled. When we visit, we feel welcome. My four-year-old, who has a lot of energy and doesn't have any real sense of boundaries, has been cheerfully received and is now known and greeted by most of the staff by name. This is a big deal for me and I have appreciated their generosity toward her. In general, the staff have gone out of their way to answer questions and solve problems that have arisen.
We talked to a lot of communities and toured this place too. The tour was very lovely and based on what we saw and felt this was not the right place. We decided on a different community. This could be nice for someone else.
The staff here has made mom feel like she is at home. They are very interactive with all the residents and I really like that. It feels like a home instead of an institution. Everything has been clean pretty much except for the trash being emptied, but as soon as you let them know they are right on it. I also like that mom can walk around and look at the birds that they have and the genie pigs. She really enjoys that.
