I would tell others to not take your loved ones here. This has been a bad experience for us. They took our money and didn't contact us for 10 days. There have been things stolen out of my loved one's room. There is no hot water in my loved one's room. The community says that it has been fixed and it hasn't. They are still using the bathroom to shower my loved one with no hot water. This has been a huge disappointment for us. The best things they have going for them is their staff.
Brookdale Tramway Ridge is an excellent place, especially for loved ones who have dementia. It is a gated community which is safe, and so far we are very pleased with them.
We chose Brookdale Tramway Ridge because of the location and the fact that he could have his own private room in the memory care unit. The memory care part is like a smaller community instead of one long hallway. I felt like after talking to and seeing others places that this would be the best fit. The staff members here were very informative and always willing to talk to me and get dad on the phone with me. The activities director was very sweet and always tried to get my dad involved in things. We did have some issues with their billing department and they will not resolve it or speak to me. I have had to go to corporate and file a complaint and I keep getting excuses and it has been very difficult. I would recommend them to others looking, but be prepared to go over your statements for extra charges.
We chose Brookdale Tramway Ridge because it appealed to us more than others we looked into. The staff members were really easy to work with and we were in a rush and they helped us get in fast. I would tell others that the staff here was wonderfully accommodating and helpful to us. They always listened to us whether we had a question or concern or complaint. They were very responsive and I would recommend.
Brookdale Tramway Ridge has been the best place for my husband. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks Brookdale for being so very good to my husband and me.
This turned out to be a really inappropriate placement. Important details about medication policies were not disclosed until after being admitted and the head nurse begged me to write a letter of praise to her boss 3 days after admitting my mom. There was a profound lack of knowledge.
Nice place, but the location was not as convenient as Atria Vista. Rates were higher. Meals only at set times. Mom not on that kind of schedule.
We toured Brookdale while looking at options for my mother’s respite care. I like the community and I thought it was a nice place. It’s close to the mountains, so they have very nice views. However, I felt it was a little more expensive than other places we visited, so we opted for a more practical community.
A Place for Mom helped us by forwarding us information on assisted living homes in our area. We are blessed to have found and placed mom at Brookdale Tramway Ridge. The facility is clean and the staff are beyond caring and friendly. Mom is extremely happy with her new home. Thank you Brookdale for all you do to be a top-notch home for our loved ones.
I had a tour that was fine and the experience was good. When looking at the apartments I saw that they were too small. It was also on the second floor where she would not be able to go outside from. Someone would have to walk her to the elevator and it would be a lot of work just to get outside.
We toured quite a few communities including this one and we found it to be very nice The staff was very welcoming and nice. The community appeared to be well taken care of nice landscaping. They have medical staff on site.
My loved one was only in this community for a short period of time and overall I was pleased with the quality of care he had received. The staff where pleasant to work with and made sure to keep in good communication with me about all of his progress and updates. I liked that the property was clean and always well maintained for all of the residents. They could just not provide the quality of care my husband was needing so we had to take him somewhere else that could.
We enjoyed the community and speaking with the staff was very helpful. We liked that they could answer the questions we had They offer alot of many activities that might be helpful for residents to participate. We would recommend this community for care and the value of a loved one.
I have been enjoying my experience the best I can so far at this community. I have really been enjoying the social hour they have for all of the residents throughout the week and the interaction I have with my friends. I do however think they need to have some overall improvements. The laundry service and the food service are my two biggest complaints, and I hope to see some change very soon.
I picked this place because it is incredibly convenient for me to be able to visit my loved one very often. The caregivers, for the most part, are very good and the place is very clean. The food needs some improvement. When we first toured they sold it as chef cooked 5-star meals, but sometimes they will serve things like frozen broccoli. They do nickel and dime a lot, sometimes we get bills for services we did not use.
The Brookdale was very quiet and didn't seem to have much going on during our tour. We did not see many residents, but the ones we saw seemed happy. The place is well maintained but not what we were looking for at the time.
This community seemed more like a nursing home than an assisted living community. I did not think the residents here would be the right fit for my mother in law's personality. There did not seem to be much social stimulation. The community was nice and it seemed clean. The staff I met were nice.
The staff were friendly and attentive. They encouraged dad to participate in the daily activities. This community is in a nice neighborhood and there is a grocery store down the street. It is easy to get to and I would recommend this community. The food is eatable and they do have a lot of add ons.
Their staffing level seemed to be low and I visited 3 times. The price was a little high. I went on a Saturday and I was showed me a room that didn't look very clean. They told me they were still working on it. It seems like they have turnovers. I got a call from a different person when following up. It also looked disorganized and chaotic.
This was a nice and clean community. They did not seem as personal with the residents. The rooms are really small it was like a hotel room but smaller. They were really good at answering my questions.
