Compared to other facilities that we have looked at, I think Brookdale Loma Linda is one of the top 5 in the area. The price is very reasonable for what you get and we would recommend them to others looking.
Our family had an in person tour, and the experience was great. It was very clean, no foul smells, we did not see any red flags or anything that stood out negatively. The reasons we did not choose the community was the location, it was not very convenient for our family, and it did not have a full kitchen which is one of the things our loved one requested be in her room.
The community made a lot of promises during the sales process but a lot of those promises did not happen. I think the community could treat the residence with more respect and not just tell them things to appease them. I would not recommend this community based on my experience.
Our loved one seems to be well taken care of there and they are happy. Our loved one says the meals are good, we checked out a lot of places and this was above the rest. In comparison to other places it is a good value
The room size was good, and the food was good and they offered a good variety. They kept the building and grounds well maintained and clean. The only issue I had was the communication with the admin. staff. They were really nice when you were able to speak to them I would recommend this community to others
On the tour we thought this community was very clean, it is a bit pricey. They do offer some activities like bingo, exercise classes and book clubs. They used to bring in live entertainment into the lobby before the virus came, they would take little outings. The friendliness of the people there stood out to us, the lobby is big with big glass windows. We were pleasantly surprised that the one bedroom was a nice size. Our loved one likes the food, she says the food is really good!
Nice facility. Large rooms, walk-in closets. Able to care for a variety of needs
Bookdale is very short staffed and has large turnover of caregivers. The kitchen is slow and serves a lot of processed foods. I am in a 1 bedroom and the living quarters are adequate with a large bedroom and closet. Would be nice to have a larger bathroom.
The staff are very helpful, kind and considerate. My Mom enjoys the variety of activities.
My grandmother was in independent living but I had to move her to Brookdale Loma Linda because she needed more care than she was getting. My family and I have been happy with the services that she receives. She’s in a wheelchair and needs help with toileting, bathing, getting to the dining room and back, and medication. I take her to all her medical appointments. They have lots of activities at Brookdale for the residents and everyone is very friendly. I am unsure about her current monthly payments because my mother is in charge of that .
