They had a big room, but no separate bedroom.
Of all the places I toured, Brookdale Lake Orienta was the best down in Florida. They continued to follow up with me, and any questions I had they were willing to answer. Even after we chose another facility, they let me know they were there if we needed anything.
This is a good community and they have a lot of activities. The food however, is not really good and a lot of the residents complain about to much pepper on the food. Sometimes the nurses miss medications and we have some concerns .
The community is what we expected. The staff is very friendly, and they do a great job with the care they provide. The food is good, and they have activities available for the residents. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
We chose Brookdale Lake Orienta because there were personal recommendations made to us and it is also close to family members. The staff send newsletters for updates and I get phone calls if there is any question or concerns with my mom. Overall it has been a good experience and I would recommend them.
There is no consistency with the care and it seems disorganized. There has issue care not being done for my loved one. Communication is not good. we have trouble getting ahold of people and they do not return calls. They make promises that they do not keep and it is frustrating. I would like to see a bigger effort made to engage the residence and keep them busy, and the care services need to be more consistent.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and are sorry to hear we are not meeting your expectations. We would welcome an opportunity to discuss with you further and encourage you to reach out to our local management team.
[name removed] and others at the facility spent 2 1/2 hours with us helping us to see all that was available, answering our questions and being very attentive and helpful. Very responsive to our particular needs and in explaining the options that they have to offer. We were very impressed with the amenities and the cost for what is offered as well as the flexibility on the services offered. Also helped connect us with someone to help us investigate possible VA benefits we might qualify for to help us with the costs. We were impressed with everyone we met and their sincere concern for ur needs. Everything looked nice, clean and the living arrangements were nice with good options. This is definitely a place we will consider. We were also impressed with the careful screening for CoVid 19 virus.
We chose Brookdale because of the location. She is able to see their house from her room here. Also the reviews and I liked it when I was reading about it. My mothers room size is really good, her room actually looks over the lake so she has a best view. The best part about the community so far has been the way they have handled COVID and their communication throughout it. They just go above and beyond and we have been very impressed. I would absolutely recommend.
The community itself is a little old. The staff tends to be pretty nice, and the care giving staff does a pretty good job. They made a clear effort to provide activities for the residents to participate in. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, it was good but they could have done better. The price was good, although the level of care fees went up continuously.
Lovely facility. My mother was impressed by how clean it was and the size of the apartment. They provided us lunch in the dining room, which was delicious. Everyone we spoke to was very open and answered all of our questions.
this is a good choice as well, very nice facility and staff
We loved this community...one of the top places on our list
[Name removed] was a helpful tourguide and I could see that Brookdale was clean and there seem--ed to be adequate staffr in the memory wing dining area--it was lunch time there. It is so convenient to my home.
Last fall, my brother asked me to find a place for him to live with assisted living. I feel so fortunate that a unit in Brookdale Lake Orienta was available. He loves it there. His apartment is roomy, bright and a perfect replacement for his former private home. The food has been very good. Who wants to be somewhere where the food is just so, so? The dining room is like an upscale hotel, very pretty. Activities are always going on...from bingo to exercises to educational to musical and other entertainment. Holidays are celebrated in style. The staff works very hard, keeping all the areas clean and inviting. Most importantly, the staff responds in a timely manner when needed. Our experience with Brookdale Lake Orienta has been very good. I would recommend it to others.
My dad was there for 2 months. Every time I went I found him in the same clothes. He became more aggressive and even though we were charged $400 extra for a nurse he was not taking his meds. Then they told us that he needed a 24 hr sitter for an additional $400. We were also told there was a cap on monthly expenses. Then we found out it was $400 per day extra with no cap. First month was over $8000. I started coming daily to take care of him myself. I found his room was never cleaned. Smelled bad of urine. His laundry was never washed. I took them home and washed them. Then his shoes disappeared. I had to go buy him shoes. Then his glasses disappeared. They gave him some old glasses they found in a drawer and he fell. He was sent to Florida hospital twice in two months. That was the last straw for me. I pulled him out. Now my final bill has been inflated to $4600 for the next month that he is not there. He refuse to eat and I removed him because I felt they did not care about him.

Community has had a major uptick in renovations. Looks better than what it did and has become part of the surrounding community. They offer many different options for your loved one. The best thing to do is to do a visit and see if it works for you and your family. Every place is different but this is one of a kind.
Loved the place. Certain apartments have a den, which is great for an office. A lot of people in the main lobby area, lunch looked great and they were setting up live entertainment.
I am not to pleased with my experience of this community that I had so far for my loved one. All I am going to say is they need a lot of improvments in there staffing and how they run things. I will say that the administrator lady was very kind and made sure to help the best as she could
I toured this community for care. I liked the staff who were helpful and showing me the community. We found it to be clean and the menu was appealing. They have a lot to offer families and we would recommend other families to this community for care of a loved one. This community was not close to the area we were wanting.
