My loved one absolutely loves it here. It's very clean. The only issues have been with the night crew and billing. The night crew is not as medially trained, and they're not very kind. The day crew and kitchen crew have all been awesome though. Billing is not exactly as they said it would be. She was expecting several thousand less than what her bill has been. But they're very good about answering any questions and responding to concerns. The food is very good, and I like that she always has something available to eat, any time of the day. They keep the residents busy with activities, and she talks to me all the time about all they have going on. They have both indoor and outdoor activities.... Read more

It was fancier as it used to be a hotel. It wasn't the right fit for our loved one.

This community is fantastic, we never want to leave. There are a lot of activities here and my wife is a piano player so the community will ask us to play the piano and sing songs for the other residents. The meals come out nice and hot and they change everyday. The dining staff have been very nice. On Monday's they have tea and scones. The staff members are very friendly and have kept up good communication with us.
The community was very attentive and did a great job communicating with us on anything that we needed to be aware of. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
Hello, My mom, [name removed], enjoyed her time at Ashland Farm in North Andover before her passing in November this year. She received exceptional care, and enjoyed her first apartment very much. The staff is very professional and caring and treated her like a family member. I am so grateful for the care that she received there and most especially her most recent time spent in Harbor.
The staff members at this community are great, through the COVID virus they have implemented a lot of things to keep the residents safe and healthy. There has only been two confirmed cases at this community, one coming from a staff member and the other coming from a resident. Overall they have done very well. Our loved one is in memory care which is pretty expensive, however he gets great care around the clock, and they do offer a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.
I would recommend this community. I feel it was a little more expensive. I would have liked to have handled the exit a little better. My mom was there for five weeks prior to passing. They told us that if we could come get the items, and it wasn't a big rush to get the items out of the community. I feel that if someone dies, that we should't have had to pay for the entire month extra for the community. I feel that they should have given us a week to come and get the items out of the community and then prorate the last month. We wanted to have my mom's end of life to be the best. The community is very nice. There was only one incident where the clicker was out of batteries according to the community. My mother needed assistance in a few times a day. If I was sick I would go to this community. My mom really loved it here. My mom thanked us for placing her in the community. The community didn't care what time we came to see my mom. There are plenty of activities to participate in.
We chose this community because the way they priced their services. For example, the time they help my mom get dressed, take a shower, etc is not in the cost. We also liked the setting of the community, they specialize in assisted living and they know how to do it right. The room sizes are a little on the small size, but the are adequate. The food is excellent, there is a lot of variety, it is nutritious, and they give adequate portions but still let you indulge. My favorite part about the community would be the people, treatment, and communication from the staff members. COVID has been a good test to see how great the community really is. I would absolutely recommend Ashland Farm at North Andover.
My father needs extra care and there is always someone that is there helping him. They have been very good. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, they have been terrific. The activities director is the best staff member there. She does so many things besides activities, its unbelievable. She really goes above and beyond. Definitely a good value for the care, we are glad we chose Ashland Farm.
The way they have handled the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, and their overall program and staff are great. It's a very clean community. The staff in general are friendly, helpful, and courteous. They are proactive with their communication as well. They just started offering actives again, and my mother is just now starting to participate again. The Arbors is a good value.
We love Ashland Farm! My father has been at this community for almost two years and he is very happy and well cared for. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff and management team who are very attentive and caring to my fathers needs. Assisted living is indeed costly, but I feel my father is getting the wonderful quality of life he deserves. I would highly recommend Ashland Farm!
Your loved ones care will require constant monitoring. Some issues never improve. Well maintained, good activities although activity calendar is rarely completely up to date. Food is good, help has a higher than desired turn over rate. Management is very unresponsive to issues. Excuses come easier than solutions. Care can be very expensive. If we had it to do over again this facility would not have been chosen.

Ashland Farm by Benchmark has been a blessing for our parents and for their children that live in the area. We rest easier knowing that they are in a safe environment surrounded by outstanding caregivers who truly care about the residents. Establishing a wider community outreach program would give talented and spirited young adults in to interact with the residents and perhaps even entertain them. The dining facility is fantastic with near gourmet styles of food. The activities director is fully engaged with residents. And the management enjoys the knowledge that the staff members all know each resident and puts their best efforts into caring for them

April 10, 2019Hi Dan, thank you so much for your positive feedback! We are very happy to hear that you are happy with our community and feel that your parents are well-cared for.
A very homelike environment with multiple cozy common areas. Currently renovating apartments as they become available. Many of the residents we encountered during the tour seemed happy and ready to engage. Discussion focused on individualizing a plan for Mom that addressed her specific quality of life issues, both medical and behavioral. Overall, we left with a very positive regard for Ashland.
Very nice facility, warm, friendly people. Looked like good options for dementia care.
I am very pleased with the care that has been provided for my loved one, they have followed through with everything that has been promised during our tour. The activity director was full of enthusiasm and was absolulty a delight to be around. I have no complaints about this community and would highly recommend it.
My mother is doing very well at Ashland Farm at North Andover. She likes the food. There's lots of activities. I'd suggest others give this place a good look if they need somewhere like this.

They did very well when we moved in. My Mother has been there for a month now, and there is very little communication. We have talked to administration and the issues we have are being worked out. Mom has not been there long, so we are still ironing out some issues.
