She has one son, living in Dallas, and four grandchildren, all boys. Two of her grandsons have already graduated from college and one is on his way. She loves to talk about math to them!
She wanted to be closer to her family so decided to start looking at senior living options. Her requirement was a pet friendly environment. She has always had pets, loves dogs and cats. In her home in Victoria, she had an outside dog and a Himalayan cat. Unfortunately the Himalayan passed away and Kaydeene yearned for a new furry friend. One day she opened up her front door and a baby cat was at her doorstep in a box. She believes God brought her Little Orphan Annie. Kaydeene and Little Orphan Annie have lived at Sunrise of Hillcrest for two years. When Kaydeene is not sipping hot tea on the front porch or doing an activity, you can find her and Annie curled up watching TV or taking a nap side-by-side.
