John A. Caulfield, Jr.
Branch: Navy
Rank: Petty Officer Third Class (E-4)
War or Conflict: WWII
Years of Service: 8
John A. Caulfield entered the U.S. Navy approximately in 1944 in the Medical Corp and was honorably discharged, but not sure of the first discharge date. John was then asked to reenter the U.S. Navy in March 1951, which he did and spent some time in Oakland CA. His second discharge came in late February, 1952. Both discharges were honorable, but have not found any paperwork on medals since some of his paperwork was destroyed in a water leak at his home a few years ago. John will be 92 on December 6, 2015.
