War or Conflict: World War II
Years of Service: 3
My father never spoke about the war. I found out after his passing why. He and his 3 brothers were all in the service. 2 in the Pacific and 2 in Europe. All came home. My father's company was one that liberated 2 concentration camps. Although he fought his way to the "front" which I am sure was terrible enough, what he saw then made him Never speak of the war. War is Hell.
