Henry Roper Jr.
War or Conflict: World War II
Years of Service: 4
Henry Roper served on the front lines in World War Two and provided carpentry services. He often spoke of the long ocean voyage he was on, 55 straight days on the ship without seeing land. This was the hardest part of the war form him. After the war he worked as a certified carpenter, married a beautiful young woman, and fathered 5 children. Henry Roper passed on in 1990, with army representation attending his internment.
