During WW II Ed served in the 104th Infantry Division in Holland, Belgium, France and Germany. His most vivid memories of those years include the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of Nordhausen Concentration Camp. He was awarded several service ribbons, one with three combat stars. Following his military service Ed had a 42 year career with the C& P Telephone Company. He married Janet Hahn and had 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He currently resides in Baltimore, MD, is 92 years old and in good health. He was one of 10 children including two brothers who served in the Navy during WW II. Of the 10, three are still living including a sister 99 and a brother 88.
