Jerry Bartlett Sr
Rank: Specialist (E-4)
War or Conflict: Vietnam War
Years of Service: 3
My father Jerry Bartlett guarded the tomb of the unknown soldier, was awarded the Purple Heart (which sadly was lost in a house fire), was an expert sharp shooter, met President Johnson, and was blown out of a jeep in Vietnam. Currently lives in Idaho with his wife Dina. I thank him and every veteran I come across for their service.
