Louis Lovato was born on June 21,1923. He grew up in a small town outside of Albuquerque New Mexico, called Bernalillo. He has a sister, Adelena and a brother, Vincente. His mother passed away at the very young age of 36 leaving his father to care for the children. Louis enlisted on December 2, 1941, to the United States Army. Battles and Campaigns were in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland Central Europe, and The Battle of the Buldge. Louis was discharged on January 9, 1946, with the American Defense Service Medal, the American Theater Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Louis married Almida on December 3, 1952. They have 5 children, Louis, Diane, Margaret, Randy, & Johnny, 7 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
