These provisions include a licensed health care professionall must annually review all residents medications, Residents may self-administer medications if they are capable, and Medications may be administered by licensed individuals or by medication aides . There must be one toilet for every 1 residents and one bath or shower for every 1 residents. In total, there can be no more than 2 residents to a room. Public assistance is available through Medicaid 1915(c) waiver program–Virginia Alzheimer s Assisted Living. Staff members receive training in a variety of fields. These include: emergency and disaster plans, including those for evacuating residents., reporting requirements, Residents rights and responsibilities, and Specific duties and requirements of their positions. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include Periodic oversight of special diets by a dietitian or nutritionist, bedtime and between meal snacks must be available, and three nutritious meals must be provided each day.
