The Cincinnati Museum Center is located in the old art deco-style Union Terminal and houses artifacts and exhibits that span over 6,000 years of human and natural history. The American Sign Museum is another popular Cincinnati destination with its colorful displays of vintage signs, neon displays, and sign-making equipment. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is a monument to the American slave trade and the brave individuals who helped escaped slaves find freedom in the North. Last but certainly not least, the Taft Museum — housed in a National Historic Landmark built in 1820 — offers an excellent collection of fine art featuring works by the likes of Rembrandt and Goya.

Transportation

Public transportation is available in Cincinnati through the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK), and the Clermont Transportation Connection. Almost all of these lines, including the TANK routes, are based out of Downtown Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Bell Connector is a modern streetcar line that connects downtown Cincinnati, the Banks, and the Over-the-Rhine neighborhoods. It operates 365 days a year from 6:30am to midnight. The AIrporter offers $2 rides between the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and downtown Cincinnati.
