As a retired RN I have seen many senior homes. Assisted living and nursing homes. Boulder City at 1st sight is the best-kept secret of Nevada. The Homestead is unique. We decided to move here on [date removed]. We are so grateful and lucky yo have this new home. Imagine the spectacular mountains around B.C. overlooking Lake Hood. It's awesome anytime, every time. Please call and visit us.

Not enough space here to tell you all about The Homestead. It's great! The staff goes out of the way to make you feel like you're part of the family. The rooms are nice, the food is good, the activities are plentiful and boulder city is one of the nicest small towns you will ever see. All things considered, this is a great place to live! come see for yourself!

When I came to the Homestead I felt very welcomed. Even when I had to spend 14 days. Because of the decision, I met friendly ladies and we made friends very quickly! I was quite active with gardening, exercise, and loved the art projects. We will have a computer room. The meals were healthy! Caregivers were so helpful.

Just come! Come and see for yourself! Share and smile and laugh with us! There is a lot of empathy you'll see in the nurses, a little time spent with us not only from the nurses but all staff members! The food is anything you want and usually too good! Just come!

I wish I could give friendliness a 6. They are great. My wife is in memory care. I have nothing but good things to say about The Homestead. They have done a good job with Covid-19, keeping the residents safe. I miss going there daily to see my wife and the staff. It has been a very positive experience.

We feel it is the best options we have found. I would recommend The Homestead at Anoka to others.The rooms are large room sizes, my mom has a balcony. They have outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff at Elder Homestead is very helpful and reassuring. I felt comfortable leaving my mom there. Family members are able to Skype with resident while it is shut down for visitors.It is close to my dad's home so when things get back to normal he will be able to visit easily.

My parents moved in 2 years ago. They are 88 years old, in independent living. They love it. My mom was pretty isolated in the old house. Now she has many friends. Her quality of life has increased ten fold. My dad is more forgetful but also loves living at The Homestead. He doesn't miss yard work or snow blowing. He loves the under ground parking. They also have a balcony. Transitioning from a house to an apartment is difficult, but having access to the outdoors helps. They spend quite a bit time on the deck, and my dad enjoys watering and caring for their plants. They also have a weekly Catholic service, open to all faiths. After the service there is fellowship. A great connection and way to meet people-friends. As an adult child, I don't worry so much about my parents. They are safe and happy. My mom thinks of this as home, not the old house.

The staff is amazing. They love their residents so much. They are kind and caring. I literally cannot say enough good about them. I feel so very blessed to have found this place for my mom.

So far, I’ve been really, really pleased with this place. The staff has been very good with my Mom. When something goes on, they call me and let me know how she’s doing or when she needs something. They’re willing to work with me and help her. My mom gets the newspaper every day and I got a call from the receptionist one day actually telling me that her newspaper wasn’t delivered. They went out of their way to call the newspaper and tell them that her paper hadn’t been delivered. Compared to another place my Mom had been living, it’s like night and day. They go far above and beyond what they have to just to make sure she’s taken care of. The meals that they feed the residents are nutritionally really good and healthy, but sometimes it’s difficult to get my Mom to eat it if it isn’t prepared a certain way. I’ve talked with the Homestead about it and I know they’re trying their best to accommodate. My Mom has a gluten free diet and they’ve done really well with trying to accommodate that as well. The food looks beautiful and their kitchen is buffet style where it’s prepared and dished out to the residents. I’ve met other residents here and they all seem to be very happy. I would definitely, without a doubt, recommend this place.

It was nice and clean. The director was very helpful and accomadating. They answered all of my questions. But the building was way older and that is why my dad didn't want to live there we had to choose another community.

I toured this community and I liked it . The staff was nice and accommodating. It was clean and tidy. They answered all of my questions. The building was new and shiny. I was on the wait list at this place and another one also and the other told me they had an opening

My mom is doing so well here, the staff is so attentive to her needs, they encourage her to be a part of the activities and she enjoys going to the dining room and visiting with the other residents. There is a nice courtyard area that is secured so my mom can come and go out there when she wants. I also like the fact that there is also a long term care unit here as well.

I'am very pleased with my move to this community. Everything has worked out very well, and everyone here is very kind. This is a great community, and I'am comfortable in this community. The staff is great, and have been helpful when needed. I'am really enjoying my time here in this community, and I would recommend it.

I like the care and the staff at this community for my mom. We like knowing that the community is clean and maintained. The meals are very appealing and she enjoys the healthy variety. They offer a lot of nice activities for her to participate with the other residents. We would recommend the great care and value of this community for other families.

It was a big change for my mother going into this community. They have been good to her and made her feel as comfortable as possible. The meals are good and my mother seems to be really enjoying them. They charge per every time she presses the button for help and it has been less in price than we expected. We are happy with our choice so far.

[Removed] is compassionate & VERY sweet ... we immediately connected on the phone which makes meeting face-to-face that much more exciting!!! The front porch is a DREAM!!! I can picture my dad sitting on the swing watching baseball across the street -- he would absolutely love it. This place has a ton of character and hidden treasures. [Removed] did a great job asking a lot of questions about what my dad would enjoy to make him feel right at home.

We liked this community for my parents.We have been happy with the staff and the cleanliness. The meals need a little improvement. The activities are good but could use a little more variety. We would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families for great care.

Very nice accommodations and friendly staff. At this point, this would be the number one choice for my mom.
