We chose The Homestead because we took her to several places and this was her favorite. It was the most spacious as well with big apartment. My mom always complained about the food, but I think it was due to covid. It was being delivered and it was always cold when it got there, so if they were eating in the dining room I think it would have been a different experience. At the end when my mom got really sick, the nursing staff stepped up to the plate and helped a lot. I would recommend to others looking.

The Homestead at Anoka is very clean. The rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly. The food is not great. They have an outdoor space for residents to use. The layout is good. Very responsive to family inquiries, questions and concerns.

The Homestead has a more cohesive feel with good staff interaction. Resident apartments are bright and cheery. Atmosphere is generally positive. [name removed] was positive yet candid in our conversation. Location is excellent for our family.

Small apts with odd layouts. Good.activities, non profit accepts share waiver. Emphasis on nursing.

For our tour, the person who usually does it was not there. We had someone else give us the tour, she was not as knowledgeable for our questions.

I had a very nice tour of this community. Everything went very well, this is a good community. The community looked nice, and well maintained. The staff was nice, and informative. They answered my questions, and the experience went well overall. We wanted more of an independent community, and this is more assisted living.

This is a beautiful new facility, The rooms seemed to be the perfect size with large windows. After meeting with our guides, it was explained that my husband really needed to be in a care suite, which they don't have at this time. His needs are beyond what they can meet in assisted living. I appreciated their honesty and explanation. The chapel was especially beautiful.

The Homestead was nice, but not my first option. When I toured, there were not may residents out and about. The tables in the dining room were very small and only a few residents for in each. It was a good place, but just not what I was looking for.

My mother is enjoying the continental breakfast provided. They will be having a Christmas party that family can join soon. The place is kept very clean and her apartment is very lovely. She has a lot of room, she is actually on the waiting list for a smaller place, and a lot of natural lighting. She has a nice balcony too on the first floor. Our only complaint is the long waiting list to get a garage for her vehicle. Overall it's a great place and we really recommend it.

My mother is enjoying her time here at this community. It is a very nice place, and I'am pleased with her move here. It is a good, safe place with kind people. I know she is being cared for very well. There are some activities available for the residents, but I think they could use more of a variety for the residents to choose from. The meals are good. It has been a good experience for us here at this community. It is a community I would recommend.

They offer excellent food at this community. They have a bistro, food court and a main dining room. The manager and their staff have been helpful. They offer a lot of daily activities. I would recommend this clean community.

This community looks nice and up kept. My tour was with the director who gave me full attention and stayed focus through out the tour. I did like this community but the distance and not being a new development changed our decision.

I really this facility, they did a very good job caring for my mother and her needs. I was really comfortable with the care they provided to her. The community looks great and very well-kept. The staff was very attentive, they a 24 hour nurse. I like the way the community is set up. Everybody is very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this community.

In general I think Elder Homestead is a nice place. I haven't met all of the staff, but the people I've worked with have seemed friendly and professional overall. The facility itself is nice looking, and they take good care of the residents. However, I do think that they're a bit understaffed. When we moved in they didn't really have anyone available to help us, and the one thing we did ask for help with took a while to get done. It's improved a bit, but I still think they could use a few more people.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, it was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, it was also very expensive. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Staff are very friendly and professional. Rent and services are reasonably priced. Everything about it is fabulous, we are just as pleased as can be by the experience.

My one and only complaint is that in the first 2 weeks of living there they have messed up on giving my mom her medications a handful of times. I sat down with director and nurse and believe it's resolved now but time will tell. It's a very important part of care and so it's really bad when they don't get it right all the time!

It's a very "homey" environment. Staff is pleasant and seem to really care about the residents. If I had one "complaint" it would be that they might be slightly understaffed at times...I don't think this is unusual because it seems that most elder housing communities are understaffed. It's a very demanding job and hard to find good people to fill the positions as they don't get paid enough for what the job requires and that's unfortunate. Otherwise, very happy with this facility.

They’re very friendly. Financial value is a four, but social value would be the same. They are very responsive to working with us. There are several outdoor areas and they are very lovely. One thing that I could say is that they could do better with vision or hearing impaired residents. A support group could be very helpful.
