Just What I Was Looking For

I love it here! I love the staff, residents, and my apartment. The food is very good as well. Some of the activities available include bingo, adult coloring, games, exercise classes, water aerobics, bible study, morning mediation, and more for the residents to choose from.

My review of North Chandler Place

The staff members are amazing, they would be a 10 plus. There are a lot of activities the residents can attend to, they have an open gym, bingo and board games. They have beginner Spanish classes, journalism classes, chair exercises. They also through birthday parties, holiday parties and welcoming parties for new residents. However, the food here is terrible, the meals are poor and very bland. I really like it here though, it is a very friendly place.

A great place for my mom

The community is very comfortable, and homey feeling. It was the community I liked the best and the cost was more affordable than others. They were always very kind to our family. The room sizes were pretty good and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this community

Very friendly attentive staff

I would want other to know that this facility does not provide any linens or things such as soap and diapers, so you will need to provide that for your loved one. They have an outdoor porch area where residents are able to visit with their loved ones even during COVID and they still have bingo and other activities that they are keeping residents busy during the virus. The staff members have been very accommodating to my mothers routine and always call whenever anything happens, they are great at communication. It is always the same staff members who take care of the residents, so I know them and they know their residents very well. Overall, we have had a good experience so far.

Very pleased

Great community for a loved one. The staff here bend over backwards to accommodate residents. Leadership is very compassionate and caring-- The admissions director, [name removed], is outstanding in communicating and understanding of the stress involved when placing a loved one in a new environment. Lots of positive energy here. Great location for family to visit and maybe relax outside under the covered porch or go for an outing.

We enjoyed our tour. Although I really liked this facility and what it offered, my mother in law thought it would be too confusing for her to get around. I don't think she liked that it was a tower with several floors.

What a wonderful experience

My mother lives at the Villa Pueblo. She absolutely loves it and has made many good friends!. She is very happy there and has many opportunities to join in all the different activities. They have a beautiful dining room that she goes to eat her meals and has a choice of several different kinds of food. We have eaten there and the food is wonderful. Highly recommend the chicken fried steak dinner and the chocolate pie! One of all of our favorites. She has a beauty shop at her disposal and they also take the guest shopping a few times a week. She really enjoys getting out and doing that. The facility is lovely we had her 90th birthday there a few weeks ago in the penthouse she also had a party in the bistro and the staff helped us serve and it was lovely! It is so nice to see her happy and so excited about each day!

A nice community for care

We toured this community for my father. We liked the staff. The community was clean and they have a lot of different buildings for the residents. My father wanted a bigger room than what was available at the time needed. We would recommend this community from what we saw from this nice tour.

Wonderful Place to Go

I am so pleased with Brookdale Easley and my brother really enjoys living there. My brother has a studio apartment with a nice kictenette where he can eat his breatfast, then he gets two meals which are covered and he enjoys eating his lunch and dinner in the formal dining room with the covered tables and he says the food is great as well. There are all kinds of activities including pool tables which the admitting gal played a round of pool with my brother the day he was signed in at Brookdale Easley. We do pay extra to have his apt cleaned and his clothes washed but they do a fantastic job. We did have to buy some of the furniture and a TV for his apartment. Everything there is clean and air conditioned. They also have a covered patio with tables and chairs outside for the residenances to use. They make sure they keep an eye open and if the residences need help in their apt they are there to help them. They also have transportation for the residents so they can go to their doctor appointments and pick up their meds at Walmart as well as grocery shopping and they allow pets. Yes, I would highly recommend Brookdale Easley to my friends and family.

Nicest community I have ever seen!!

I have taken a lot of tours of many different communities and this one was by far the nicest out of all of them that I had seen. They had a beautiful property inside and out with an excellent floor plan that was wide open and easy for the residents to navigate. My uncle was just not ready to make the move at the time but I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

More space!

This community is very nice and clean and seemed to be good. It was a little older and a little more worn though. I also did not like that there rooms were very small. My mom needed a little more space.

An Enjoyable Experience

My mother-in-law enjoyed her respite stay with this community. She loved the food and loved that she didn't have to kick it. She needed skilled nursing and they were able to provide the care she needed. She was there for about two weeks and in the end she did not want to go home. I had the best representative from A Place For Mom, she was delightful.

Many Activities To Try

They seem to have many activities at the community. I have been to a few with my mom. I got to hear a singer perform for an activity. I also ate here and we think the food is pretty good. The community is a clean place. The staff are very much respectful and kind. She is doing well and amazing at this community.

A Person, Not a Patient

A Place for Mom suggested Brookdale Richmond Heights as a location for "respite care" an interim stop between the hospital, and what I hoped would be her move from Ohio to North Carolina, to live near me. Unfortunately, she passed away before she could make her move. But, I was so grateful that she had the tender care that she did at Brookdale. She loved the food, the cooks in her cottage were good old Southern cooks, she had never had chicken and dumplings and sweet potato pie before, and she enjoyed her meals tremendously. The nursing care was excellent, Raoul listened patiently to all her fears and rituals surrounding her constipation, as if he had never heard it all before. And, when she did pass away (clearly not wanting to move, after all) I was so happy that it was in what was essentially a fancy hotel room, with nice furniture, a fluffy floral comforter, not a stark and scary hospital, and with people who seemed to treat her not as a patient, but as a person.
