Frontline Management

The community is nice even with the construction to improve some things such as the size of the dining hall. The wait staff and front desk staff are helpful. My grandma has participated in movie night, picnics and has gone out to dinner. I have tried the food it is good and they offer a good variety.

Things have gone very well at Homewood Residence! My loved one really seems to be enjoying herself here, and has had nothing but good things to say about how friendly everyone is! The staff have been great about keeping in touch with us, and always respond to any questions we have quickly. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the rooms are a great size for the price! We also like that the community is divided up into smaller buildings, it makes it easier for our loved one to navigate.

The staff is very caring and friendly. My mother in law loves the food and the people. The Legacy has a very homey atmosphere and her living quarters were the largest of any of the other assisted living situations she visited. She has a small kitchen, large enough to accommodate a small table, sitting area and separate bedroom with bathroom attached. My mother in law has had issues in adjusting to her new living situation and the staff has been supportive and proactive in making this transition work for her. The staff is approachable, helpful, patient and show that they care. Really glad we moved my mother in law to the Legacy, Couldn't be more pleased with the choice.

We are very pleased with Emeritus at Countryside Campus. They have been wonderful to work with and wonderful to my father-in-law. He has not gotten into the activities yet but from the calender that I have seen I would be very pleased if he did. I think it would help him to make friends. They have church groups that come and sing, craft classes, different clubs. There's a lot of activites that don't require a lot of physical ability. Some nursing homes or assisted living places we went to looked or smelled like a run down hospital and Countryside does not. It's very clean and doesn't have that hospital smell. His room is really like a home. He likes the food. We were having trouble feeding him becuase he doesn't have teeth and they are good about pureeing and that. He said he's eating all of it, it's good!

Overall I liked it (haven't been here long enough to have an opinon) They're pretty friendly. There's always a few rotten eggs in every bunch.

We liked this place a lot. The gal we "interviewed" is very upbeat and knowledgeable. They seem to work hard at making the experience there as enjoyable as possible. Place looked clean and well staffed, and "inmates" seemed happy.

I think I am unusually qualified to review Villa Pueblo. One year ago, [Removed], my husband and I moved my Mother-In-Law, [Removed] into the Villa. We lived there for almost 4 weeks getting all her affairs in order. I love this place. The housekeepers are all so sweet and helpful, the Villa is maintained amazingly well, the dining room is so yummy but I must say, it is management that really shines. They really care about you. All the way from the top down and it shows. They have fun activities, lectures, and events. I watched Mom who was very social back in the day become a bit housebound and lonely to being so active and busy, we have to catch her on the run, or a fast walk. I currently live in Arizona but would consider relocating to Colorado someday to live at the Villa.

The units are a bit dated. I think the building was built in the 1960s, but mom says that the food is good and the people are very nice. She has not elected to partake in the activities, but she's slowly beginning to.

The staff at Richmond Heights Place seems okay. I wish they would check on my loved one more frequently, like once a week ideally. I don't believe that he comes out of his room with any frequency. I'd like to see him going down to the dining room for breakfast and dinner, at minimum. Otherwise, my loved one seems to have adjusted and seems to be doing fine at Richmond Heights Place.

Garden Valley Retirement is a very good place to live and has a small homey atmosphere. The apartments are roomy and the common areas in the facility are very nice. I would highly recommend Garden Valley Retirement.

It's been a good experience for my parents. It's a hard time of life, but the staff have been extremely consciousness. One complaint would be that they do not have enough staff, which is something I believe they've been working on.

I toured this community and overall it was not very good. The cleanliness was pretty good. Not what we were looking for in a facility, though.

When we first got there, we were told they were making changes and that it would be more clean, but nothing has changed as of yet. I will say, the staff has made some positive changes, but still needs work. They still need to step up to the plate. They do have housekeeping, but I've had to remind them to do things that I feel like I shouldn't have to. Communication has been pretty good. The food is not good and definitely needs to improve. The variety is good but quality needs improvement. At this point, I wouldn't be quick to recommend them to friends and family. Overall, the facility is ok but definitely needs improvement.

The number one thing is keeping good staff including director and management. Also the kitchen prep staff. She was there for a month without the heating and or AC. Called them four or Five times and they finally hired a new facilities director and replaced with a new unit. The food service now is much better, they have had turnover in staff which does make it suffer. They have also had some problems with housekeeping in addition. It is the main areas that need the work especially the hallways and carpets. They are certainly working on it and I believe it will be resolved. The apartments have been updated but hoping the rest of the whole building will be updated at some point. Activity director is phenomenal and do a great job.

The situation here is the Frontier company bought this place from Brookdale about a year ago. Before that Brookdale as we understand it when they were going to put it on the market they stopped putting money into the facility. The Frontier group bought it and there was an initial period where there was lack of leadership and direction. They did hire a new executive director in the last 3 months and he has experience in the VA healthcare system. He is doing his best to bring up the quality of the place and he is doing a great job - he is very hands on and we have seen those changes he is making, he knows what he is doing. There is a new independent living director and he is making improvements to this side of the facility. They have just hired a new chef and he is improving the quality of the meals and doing his best. They are updating the facility and doing new landscaping. They are upgrading a lot of things. We like that They do not require huge down deposits and they have month to month leases. We love our apartment, we have 2 balconies and also get a lot of natural light in here. The unit sizes here are much larger than other places that we looked into. Our apartment is 1330 square feet which is the largest we saw and we have huge walk in closets. The only thing we do not have is an oven. The facility has more of a campus like, relaxed appearance. There is a lot of outside space and greenery - they are working on new landscaping as well. We would recommend the facility to others looking - they have a lot of potential and they are slowly making changes step by step.

They were as good as they could possibly be. My mothers dementia was very rapid with the changes in the last few months and it took my family and the staff by surprise. They assessed her for memory care but she was not there very long. She really needed skilled nursing within about 5 weeks of being here. Overall I would recommend them to others looking. Both my mother and my aunt were happy she was here. She had been here for rehab before and the location was very convenient for our family.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and they offer a lot of services. We like that we can customize our loved ones different level of care and things she made need assistance on. We also like that she can age in place there, because moving our loved one from this community to another would just be difficult. The activities they offer are good.

They have a lot of activities. Everybody is very friendly. The staff are wonderful. If you need anything and call the office, they're prompt in taking care of any problems. I like my apartment very much. There's lots of storage, it's comfortable, and It's spacious for just me.

It's a small community with round the clock staff that keeps the residents engaged. They offer lots of activities. The facility is very nice, and the living spaces are nice and big, and clean. They put a sticker on the door that gives the date each resident will have housekeeping in their private rooms. My loved one seems to like the food, and that's coming from a picky eater.

At this time they do not have an Altec accreditation from the state. The community returns calls back quickly but they don't reach us proactively. I would love to see an online portal or app that would give me daily info on my loved one and the community. I would recommend this community to others
