We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The Inn at Fairfield Village seemed like a very nice place overall, it was clean and well kept and the people were friendly. It is not the place we ended up choosing, but it was definitely somewhere we considered!
My loved one loves the food. They always have activiites, and try to get my loved one engaged. They have really good communication with the familiy. The staff is well trained on Dementia/Alzheimer's patients. They go to a special training and it really shows. They are very caring and friendly. They have a lot of fun things for everyone to do, such as special nights; like movie nights, football nights, and outside entertainment. They also invite the families to the events. One other thing, the medical staff is very attentive.
I think there were some initial communication steps we had to get worked out. Some things didn't get done initially. And I think they have some short-staffing issues, especially on weekends,. But I think they're trying, and they're being responsive to my concerns. It's just something you have to pay attention to as the resident or families of residents. Cost is comparable to other places we looked at.
