They have a caring staff and a hands-on director. You can tell that the people there really like what they're doing, and I feel like you have to have that to be able to deal with people who have dementia and things of that nature. You can tell that they know the residents. After only a few days, they were already telling me things about my loved one that I already knew but things that they could not have known had they not been paying close attention to him. They keep the residents clean, and they learn how each resident is and then work with them according to their own specific needs and preferences. They just provide very good, very hands-on care, and they will call you and let you know what's going on. The staff are very nice.

My father has been living at Atria Kew Gardens in the memory care area. The staff are so loving and care for my father so well. I tried to care for him myself at home but it was such a struggle and when I made the decision to move him it was a difficult one. But I see now that I made the right choice and everyone has just been so helpful.

I was in a real pinch to find the right care giver and "home manager" for my parents. Mom suffers from dementia and suddenly Dad, her main caregiver, had a stroke. Almost overnight, we needed immediate support for their daily routines so Mom and Dad could continue to live at home. What to do? Enter [name removed] and Grandma Joan. Within three weeks [name removed] presented four qualified candidates. One is now a new member of the family. [Name removed] provided kind, professional and immediate support from start to finish. In every interaction he showed genuine warmth and compassion while meeting or exceeding every expectation he set. He expertly managed the process of identifying, vetting and guiding us on interviewing candidates as well as providing all the background documentation, guidelines and introductions to support services we needed to make an offer, set up payroll services and more. If I had a question, [name removed] had an answer! We couldn't be happier, and I am delighted to offer this recommendation.

The manager [name removed] was fantastic and very responsive. Whenever I had a problem she would respond immediately and replace if I had any needs. I would highly recommend touching hearts at home for your loved one . I found most of the aids to be fantastic and some of them did not click well with my loved one and if this was the case they would be quickly replaced.
