Our experience with Via Tercero Homes
We used a “Place for Mom” to assist us in finding a home for our relative. We chose Via Tercero Homes in Mission Viejo.
It has been 5 years since we placed our relative here. We have found the staff to be pleasant, and caring in their involvement with residents.
The home is ran in a professional manner. The residents are clean and dressed, some even have makeup on. The home is very clean.
During this period of time I have seen the home with inactive residents that sit in a common area to listen to TV, and do simple exercises with the staff. Also times with active residents that were enjoying a game of bingo.
The food always smelled great! We have been more than happy with the quality of care our relative received.

We toured quite a few of the residential board and care homes and they were all pretty much on the same level as far as care that was being provided. From what I could see the community appeared clean and well kept. The staff seemed nice and friendly. Not sure what type of acitivites were offered. I just felt that this was not the right fit for my mom

It's a pretty good place.
They do some typical exercises, but there isn't a lot for activities, most residents are wheelchair bound and mostly keep to themselves. It would be nice if there was maybe a little more variety in the cooking, and if it included more vegetables. We chose them because we liked the private room, and the pricing. Also because it was very clean, and they had an overall high amount of integrity when it came to adhering to certain rules about medication, and following certain guidelines for themselves.
