All we had to do was make her bed, do a little decorating, and she was ready to just walk in and make herself at home. All areas are kept clean and neat. Special attention is given to make sure there is nothing around that anyone could hurt themselves on or trip over. I have not eaten at the facility but have seen the meals. They look and smell delicious. They are always nutritionally balanced as well. My mother loves the food. Medical help is always available. There are buttons and pull cords in the bedrooms and bathroom. There are also activities planned all day that the residents can participate in if they want to. But if they'd rather not, that's fine too. The thing I really like the most is the feedback that I get from other families and the residents themselves. They all love University Village.
