They showed me one apartment before I moved in and it seemed big enough at the time but once I moved in I realized I needed a two bedroom. I was advised I would have to wait a year before I could move. They do not offer a meal plan for this community. They do offer a wide variety of activities. This building has so many issues. Too many things break and it takes months to fix them. Dirty building with serious problem of black mold, especially first floor. Pipes breaking and water damage in some apts that are still not worked on. Tenants forced to vacant these apts recently. FPI Management Corporation runs this apartment complex and they are slum lords! This is NOT a senior building anymore. Many residents here are under 55 and this is causing even more serious issues with safety and the condition of building. Theft is a regular thing here. Neighbors steal from neighbors. All this and the rent goes up every year! Right now, today, the elevator and front door to lobby are broken. This is violating the Fair Housing Act! Please look elsewhere for senior apts and stay away from FPI managed properties!!

I went to an activity that they had but there were not many people participating at all - there were only about 10 people there and probably about 100 live here. The apartment sizes are fine and I have a 1 bedroom. The washer and dryer are not inside the units, I have to go down to do laundry. We had issues last year with the heat, the AC is just not big enough to handle the temperatures. I do think it is overpriced for what they provide and it is an older facility. The folks that own this facility own many different facilities in other states. The location is really pretty - it overlooks the lake and there is a lot of wildlife.
