Communication about programming and events is very good. They use the LifeLoop website/app. Communication on the nursing/care side could be better. If I have a question or concern I don't always get a response the same day. But then they take care of it quickly. The move in process did not go as smoothly as expected. But after a few hiccups, things are good. I can text the director and she will take care of it. According to my mom, the meals are not great and they run out of certain things sometimes. But she is not a reliable historian and is a picky eater. Besides all this, my mom is much happier than I thought she would be. The activities director hooked her up with a few ladies within her first week there and now the 4 of them are inseparable. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p> <h4>Assisted Living Facility</h4> <p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s.
