The Village is currently going through a huge change in their staff, so the people we met in the beginning are no longer there. The only issue our family has really had so far is with the security, there doesn't seem to be any. Visitors can just come and go through the community and there is no receptionist there checking people in and out so that makes us a little uneasy at times.... Read more

Our grandmother has been there going on 2 years. Before sign the contract we were told are activities for the memory care patients and if special dietary needs we requested they could accommodate. None of this happened and still hasn’t. Since our time there the amount of turnover has been excessive. Two General Managers have come and gone. Still no activities manager and if your loved one has special dietary needs look elsewhere. Monthly fees are going up. Part of the reasons are supplies (?). We supply her toilet paper. Services (?). They’ve said they’ll be hiring an activities director and dietitian since day one. I stopped in a few weeks ago and they had one employee for entire memory care unit. I highly recommend if you are looking for an assisted living facility you look elsewhere.

Response from The Village at Bellevue
August 23, 2023Thank you for your positive review of our community, Annette! It makes us so happy to hear that you were impressed with our cleanliness, team members and activities. We are committed to providing our residents with a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. We take pride in keeping our community clean and well-maintained, and we offer a variety of activities to appeal to all interests. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out!
It is very difficult to speak with someone, with questions or concerns about patient, or get any feedback from them. They do not seem to have enough staff for patients needs. To others who are looking into The Village at Bellevue for their loved ones, I would suggest to shop around first.

Response from The Village at Bellevue
May 2, 2023We're sorry you haven't had an ideal experience with our community. Prompt communication and optimal care is vital to the well-being of our resident and we'd like to learn more. We ask you to please reach out to our Regional Director of Operations, Hollie Bailey, at hollie.bailey@navionsl.com to discuss matters further.
We toured The Village at Bellevue virtually and in person. Personally did not like the set up at all. The director was great, but the place was small and dark, and living area in the two bedroom apartment would have been impossible to furnish and unpleasant to sit in.
Response from The Village at Bellevue
March 14, 2023Dear Laure, thank you for taking the time to tour The Village at Bellevue and sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that the living area in the two-bedroom apartment did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your compliments towards our director, and we will share them with her. If you would like to discuss this further or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Our family had an in person tour and we thought the entire tour experience was really good.

I think it is a good community. People are generally nice here. I wish there was a bit more attention to my loved ones; however, I think happens in any community. Specifically during COVID.

My father lived at "The Village at Bellevue" for almost 3 years. My family visited him almost every other day. I ate with him once or twice a week, and participated in activities with him. I interacted with the staff and nurses and got to know most of the staff that took care of my dad. In all those years, I watched how respectful and caring they were up to his last days. I will always be grateful to "The Village" for providing the greatest level of care for my father that I could ask for.

I met with [name removed]. Facility is older, but clean. It had a more subdued feel for me. The rooms were very small. Not a lot of common space besides the dining room. he said for only minimal shower help she MAY not have a care charge.

They were great and have everything we would want in community living but they are unaffordable.

This community was very nice to tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful on the tour. The community was very nicely decorated and the landscaping was very nice. There is a fenced in backyard with a walking path.

We had a pretty nice tour of this community. The intake lady was kind, and friendly. However when we first arrived nobody greeted us for fifth teen minutes. The tour went well, everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff was friendly, but I not feel this was the right fit for my love one.

I have no complaints about how things went for myself when I had taken a tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. It was just not the right fit in the end decision.

There have been many upgrades to the property since my mother was a resident there when it was the Waterford. Although it is an older senior living facility it is decorated nicely and everything seems to be cleaned regularly. It is a smaller community which provides for a little more homey atmosphere. The administrators and staff have been very accommodating and helpful to me and my mother to make her transition go as smoothly as possible. The tenants aren't quite as active as my mother would like, but she knows that that can change in a community very quickly. Thanks so much to you and A Place for Mom!

I had chosen this community for my brother because it was the best place for him that could medically meet his needs. The staff are very attentive to his needs and make sure that he is comfortable in his new living environment. He has had no complaints about the meals and has been enjoying some of the activities as well as the social environment with the other residents. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

My mom went home recently and she never complained while she was there. It was a good experience. She was there for recovery. If needed I would recommend this community to family or friends.

We selected this one because they had the best choice for an apt with parents that want to stay together.

I was able to take a tour at this community and thought that it was beautiful. The staff was open and receptive to all my questions. The residents there said that they are happy there and like it. i just did not get the feel I was looking for with this place, but it is a nice community.

A Place for Mom has scored The Village at Bellevue 2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
