I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the team at Tuckerman for the great care they gave my mom during her last days. The team was extremely attentive and passionate. Our family couldn't ask for more from the front door greeter, housekeeping, care givers, and management. Everyone was very responsive.

The people that took care of my dad were simply amazing, I would give them higher than a 5 if I could. If I were looking at this facility online I would tell others that the size of the room was fabulous because we could meet as a family and we did not feel crammed. It was a very nice place and did not feel institutional at all. If you like to take your loved one outside, they do have a trail close by and a nice outside space. I would recommend them to others looking.

It's a really good place to be if you have to be in a nursing facility. It's about as good as it gets. They offer some activities including bingo, etc. They are just getting started back up with the activities. Now that covid is ending. The dining room is opening back up and is beautiful. The lobby is really nice. The management staff is located in the lobby area and they are very cooperative and responsive with any concerns.

I recently moved my mother into this place. I had a very positive experience with the dynamic Director of Sales/Community, Move in Coordinator and Activities Director. They took such good care of my mother during the actual move-in date and prior to that were so patient with me and really took care of answering all my questions and putting me at ease. I’m very happy with the quality of the place, the food and staff who take care of my mother. I feel at ease knowing that my mother is in wonderful hands and that they will take good care of her.

My loved one is okay here. I'm asking for a lot from the community due to the value for the money each month. There has been lots of turnover. Brighton Garden has been missing a Sales Director, other top positions, and other staff members since mid-September. The food is good, but not delivered hot or ways to get the attention of staff to make changes, but there are lots of options for residents to choose from for food.

The community is very nice with friendly and helpful staff. Some of the activities offered are arts and crafts, outings, and more for the residents to choose from. They are willing to work with dietary restrictions if your loved one has any.

Whatever is verbally said I would recommend you get in writing from the community. I would recommend that you make sure that staff is available to meet your loved one's care needs. There wasn't enough monitoring of my loved one during their stay. My loved one was in the community during the pandemic. The staff was overall friendly. I felt the community was accommodating in allowing me to see my loved one and it is conveniently located. The community tried to assist the residents and families during this time. The food could have been improved. I would recommend you visit and check it out. I'm sure it is a different place with activities going on.

We chose Brighton Gardens at the time because of the location, we were able to get to her quick. We also liked the cost for what you were able to get. The room sizes here were very generous and they get a lot of daylight. The facility itself was always very bright and modern. It is a larger facility that we were used to, we did not know she needed that extra care. Hospice reached out to us and the care was better with them. One thing I would like to add was the front desk girl came to my aunt's funeral, so that was very nice.

We chose Brighton Gardens of Tuckerman Lane because they had a 2 room suite on the ground floor available. It has made it very nice especially during covid, we can do window visits. The doctor also recommended the facility. We have eaten here and the food is decent, they do have a dining area and you can make reservations to have meals with your loved one. The best part about this facility is the friendliness of the staff members.

We did not have the best experience with Brighton Gardens of Tuckerman Lane. Their communication was bad with what was going on in terms of how bad the spread of the corona-virus was inside of the community. The staff was pleasant, but I felt she was not getting the level of care that she probably needed. It was hard to get people to talk to me about what was going on so communication was the biggest issue. I would be terrified to put anyone in assisted living right now with what is going on.

The friendliness of the staff did vary a lot depending on who you dealt with. Our family did have an incident that happened at this community where our loved one fell down and laid on the floor for about 45 minutes, no one came to check on her which resulted in us taking her out and moving her to a different community. The food was pretty mediocre, the rooms were fine, about average in size.

This place offered a friendly environment that I know my mom would love. It is definitely on our short list. The facility really had a homey feel to it with lots of activities for all residents.

Look carefully before agreeing at discharge to have a patient sent to Brighton Gardens - Staff and Management - Inattentive, untrained, unresponsive, unpleasant and uncaring. A very bad mix for a loved one being discharged from a hospital. There are no words to express the profound disappointment in Brighton Gardens management and staff. A cancer patient fighting to regain some assemblence of dignity was afraid and in tears that the staff would not come within hours of a call and feared retribution when family members were not there for support. Shame on you Sunrise for allowing such a situation to occur at your Tuckerman Lane facility. Here is the level of care being delivered and draw your own conclusions. Patient was left for hours after requesting help to the bathroom. With no help, multiple times the patient was left wet, again for hours, without fresh pads being changed or cleaned despite requests for assistance. A disgrace. Patient was left for hours in a chair hooked up to an empty tank of oxygen. Staff didn't check and family members had to get help twice in two days. Food service in the room poor and cold. Food in the dining area better on the temperature front but service is abyssal.
