It's very clean and a good atmosphere overall. The last 2 months, there have been some staff changes in all departments. I think they're just going through growing pains right now, which is understandable. It's still a great place and the residents' needs are being met. They just have to get through the transition period. It seems like they're starting to get it worked out. The food has been up and down also because of it. It used to be great, but it's a hit or miss now. Again, due to staff shortages and probably also supply shortages like everyone else right now. They really do cater to residents' needs well. Communication with the family could improve in some areas. The nurses are great about communication, but the billing and finance department could improve. Ultimately, this place fits the bill. I would recommend them to family and friends.... Read more

Great facility

We chose The Pointe at Pontiac because of the cleanliness of the facility and the way it was laid out was easy for her to get around and all of her needs were met without her having to go far. I cannot think of a bad thing to say about them and I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Great facility!

My aunt stayed at The Pointe in Pontiac for 7 months up until her passing. It was a great facility with people who cared, the employees went above and beyond to make sure her needs were met . The number one reason for choosing them was because for a monthly fee you can have a pet in your room, so she didn’t have to leave her beloved cat behind! They have lots of activities going on too!

Better than we ever expected

We were so relieved we found such a great place at a budget my dad could afford . My dad is living here and it is just wonderful. Very modern clean rooms with a very HELPFUL and honest caring staff. This place cares about you as a person. My dad had been living at another assisted living place in same town during the winter months and it was a lot more expensive, rooms were out dated, the help was undependable at times . They would make promises they could not follow-through with , some of the management personnel would make false accusations about our family and tell everyone your business and charge you extra fees that you thought was included. WE WOULD RECOMMEND WOODRIDGE TO SENIORS THAT NEED SOME EXTRA CARE IN A AFFORDABLE BEAUTIFUL FACILITY

Four Stars

There is a young man who works there who helped us unload a piano and then move it into the facility. I really appreciated his willingness to do that and help out. Other than that, Woodridge is a fine place.
