There must be one bath or shower for every residents and one toilet for every 1 residents. This type of community is required to have a staff member on duty 24 hours a day. Public assistance is available through A Medicaid 1915(c) waiver called the Supported Living Program and a 1915(b) waiver called the Managed Long-Term Services and Supports program. This type of community is required to offer a number of services. These include housekeeping, security, medication administration, and laundry. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide three daily meals. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include reading the medication label to residents, supervision of self-administered medications, and documenting whether or not the resident took the medication.
