My dad was very reluctant to give up his home of over 50 years. My loved one lived here and it really started to go downhill. Long waits in the dining room, communication with the family was terrible, housekeeping was only every other week and her room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. I even had trouble getting a response from the executive director when I would reach out to her. We ended up moving our loved one to another facility.

The Enclave at Springboro was beautiful. I loved everything about it. The cost was high, especially with all the levels of care. But even so, I selected them and had planned for my loved one to move in. Unfortunately his health declined before his scheduled move-in, and we had to go a different direction.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience
The nurses are amazing. If you chose this community, make sure you're advocating for oyour loved one, and checking on them. Overall the staff is friendly, and they try hard to make our loved one comfortable.

For a loved one in assisted living who doesn't need a great deal of service, I think it's ideal. It's a beautiful place. They have great opportunities for activities, and there's lots going on. The residents I've talked to all seem very satisfied. The people are very friendly and call me by name when I come in. You feel like they truly care. But if your loved one has a higher level of care needs, I'm not sure that it's all that they advertise it to be. I think they're understaffed, and I know they have temporary agency staff that comes in to assist. I think that' s happening everywhere right now though. But there are a lot of inconveniences that occur with those lower staff levels. Just keep in mind that it's group care, and you have to accept that it won't be the same as having your loved one with you in your own home. I think the cost is pretty high, but The Enclave is actually one the lesser expensive places I saw.

We think they do a really good job with the meals and dining service and the apartment rooms are perfect. Sometimes there is a lack of communication with the care staff and the families and there has been a recent change over in staff so sometimes information is up in the air and we aren't sure who our main contact is.

Went to visit my aunt who has dementia at about 12:45 today. Was still in bed from last night. The room smelled horrible from she and her bed being soaked with urine. Had not been fed all day either since she wasn't gotten up. Place looks very nice but level of care is atrocious. So sad. Our elderly loved ones deserve so much better

During our loved ones stay at The Enclave, we had a wonderful experience. She was on the memory care side and the care the staff members gave was outstanding. Based on the experience we had with this community we would recommend them to other families searching for a place.

We planned to pick her up on Christmas morning (after she hadn't lived there a month) and she was locked in her room at 930 am. It took 5 minutes to find someone to open her door so we could get to her to take her out. Their Christmas dinner was white bread sandwiches. I seen the residents the next day, they were very short staffed and had 2 CNA's to care for the whole unit. The girls were in tears. Everyone was not up and taken to the dining room, most had not eaten by the time we got there after 945 am. I had a meeting shortly after to remove my loved one. I had a breach of contract for the manager to sign and they refused. The Activities Gentleman in memory care was 5 stars!

Don’t know why I waited this long to write this. My husband has been at The Enclave for six months-from the beginning until now there have been nothing but mistakes and less than adequate care, especially since moving to memory care. Have spoken in person and my phone many times to management about problems and was always told it would be taken care of-never was. Three management people at the facility-two have left-one position 2 people left. Inadequate staff, inadequate care. My husband is in final stage of living and I am sooo very sorry I placed him there. Please do not send your love ones there. Showers not given, oral care not given even offering if liquids are not provided. Many many other things just wrong about this place.

My mom moved in 2 months ago and we think the place is great. She likes the food and activities the staff that helped us sign up and move in was great.
Unless your loved one is completely independent and able to take care of themselves this is not the right place. If they need a lot of care the adequate care will not be provided from this community.

They are not able to properly care for Alzheimer's or dementia patients who wander, which is a pretty common behavior. They called me partway through my loved one's stay to tell me he was wandering into his neighbor's room. They had a shared bathroom, and he simply just wasn't remembering which room was his after leaving the bathroom. So I had to come and get him early from his respite stay. I was stunned that they are licensed to help dementia patients. They seem much better able to provide simple assisted living as opposed to dementia care. They told me all of his stuff was packed up, but there were things still stuffed away in drawers. So I would have left things behind had I taken them at their word. It's a pretty place, and it's impressive to look at. But that doesn't matter if the care is not adequate.

This community was awesome, very nice community and very kind people. In the memory care it felt more like a nursing home and at that time I did not want that for my loved one so we went with another option.
The activities that are higher functioning and more mobile could be better and have more activities for these residents. Due to my loved one not having enough activities we ended up having my loved one home. The medication listings are still on paper and aren't electronic. It would be better and quicker for residents and staff to have this done electronically. The Administration in terms of nursing was slow in returning communication. The rest of the staff was quick to respond to questions or concerns.

My experience has been a positive one and I'm happy with it. They are good at keeping me up-to-date on how my loved one is doing. The community is good at sending a weekly update of activities your loved one has participated in.

Enclave has taken care of my father for around 6 months or so and has my highest recommendation. They go out of their way to take care of my father and to make sure we understand as a family their protocols in care taking. A very good decision on having them take care of our dad.

They are very good about getting to know their residents. They provide reports to us when we come to visit and let us know what's going on. They have a good mode of communication through Life Loop, which is a site that the family can get on and share messages and pictures. They just really communicate well. I think they've been very responsive to any questions or issues we've brought to their attention. The food is very good. They provide good balanced meals for the residents. And they have a chef and a pastry chef on staff. I haven't tried anything yet that wasn't good. Activities are also good overall, but they could offer a little more variety - although I think Covid is playing a part in that. I heard that they used to have a book club and cooking group that we would love to see come back.
