This seems to be an excellent option for us. Clean and friendly. Good choice for independent living.
I would tell others that the one issue we had was that the head of assisted living section seemed to be intense and not very professional. When we went to move my moms stuff out, no one told her we were coming and she got angry at that. If I had to do it over again, this probably would not be my first choice on facilities, but I would tell others to check it out.
My loved one seems happy here. The people are very friendly. There are exercise classes nearly every day. It seems homey. The activities include games, exercise classes and more. Sometimes the food is so so for my loved one.
The staff members were friendly and very helpful, and when it came to the food they were very accommodating and they tried their best when it came to the activities. We thought the value was really good and very reasonable.
We chose The Wellington at Dayton because of the apartment, it was beautiful. We did get email updates from them about covid and I was allowed to go in and see her to give her medication. The facility itself was very clean but they did not come and clean my moms room like they said they were going to. For the most part, all of the staff members here were very friendly and it was a nice facility. I wish it would not have been during covid but I would recommend to others that are looking.
I think The Wellington at Dayton handled the situation well that we were presented with and everyone was very friendly and it had a good atmosphere. During her short time here, it was a good experience she just needed more care than they were able to provide.
The staff and everyone around the facility is very friendly, The facility is always clean, and they have had a good plan for covid and have kept the residence safe. I would recommend this facility to others.
The facility is cost-effective but there has been some turnover in management so communication is lacking. it has been hard with covid. My dad is happy there I would recommend this facility if your loved one needs independent living.
My mom is in Independent Living. It is cost-effective for the area. They take good care of my mom. It has been hard with Covid-19, but they are doing a good job. The food was better when it was serviced in the dining room.
My mom was a difficult patient, she had dementia. They were wonderful and kind in caring for her. The room was great she had a private unit. They have secured outdoor space for the residents. My mom did not like the food in Memory care, the food in the Assisted Living was good.
