  • Staff is horrible

Brookdale Naples Memory Care has major issues with their staff. My father was a patient there for a short time at the end of his life. I never got to visit him and never interacted with any of the staff. I had only spoke to two staff members at the facility for the first time, they didn’t even know me personally, yet knew I was his daughter but refused to let me speak to my father as he was dying. So at the very end of his life I was very taken aback at their treatment of both me and my father when he was dying. So they did try to prevent me from speaking to my father on the phone even after his guardian had set it up with no reason. They were rude and ugly. I was reasonably distraught and thought how horrible that such disgusting people were “caring” for my loving father. I was horrified. The guardian was able, thank god to make other arrangements for me before he died as she wasn’t available do to an emergency. Those arrangements bypassed the care facility and happened the same day my father died. I live a two day flight from Florida by the way. Do not put your loved one here.

  • Wife

Very dissapointed-husband was scheduled for 2 week respite stay. Was denied medication he requested to sleep at night. I left messages to no avail. I removed him early and paid for 10 days stay. Check was deposited for 14 day stay!!

  • Brookdale Naples was the second facility we toured. The facility appeared clean but a bit dated. There is a clear difference in the overall visual impressions one gets between a facility that has been open 2 years versus 10+. Despite its age this facility appeared clean and the residents we met contented. The one bedroom/one bath rooms were nice, especially with the screened balcony that provided a private outdoors experience for residents.
